我的朋友是一個誠實謙虛，學習超好的人，他平時的話不多，但在幫助我的時候卻滔滔不絕。在我的心目中，他才是可以做真正朋友的人。
說起我和他的故事，那簡直是三天三夜也說不完。記得那是上學期期末考試的前幾天，我突然感冒發燒了，實在打不起精神，為了不影響期末考試，媽媽讓我暫時請假打針，過了兩三天病就好了，可我的課卻落下了一大截，雖然是復習期間沒有新課，但復習的關鍵部分我卻錯過了。大病初癒的我回到學校時，急得就像熱鍋上的螞蟻，就在這時，他悄悄地來到我身後，輕輕地拍了我一下，然後把書本擺在桌上，「我就知道你會著急，這不，你沒來這幾天，我可是詳細地做了筆記，就等你回來，我好給你講，這樣你就不能落下太多了。」聽了他的話，我恍然大悟，望著他那誠懇的模樣，我心裡熱呼呼的，一時間竟然說不出話來，只是點了點頭。然後，他仔細地講解著這幾天復習的內容，我認真地聽著，在他的.幫助下，我把落下的知識學會了。
在我需要時，他不請自來；在我困難時，他給我幫助；在我取得好成績時，他替我高興；在我失望時，他給我鼓勵，他就是我真正的朋友。

Statistics show that no more than 40% of people who take the college entrance exams pass. Because a college ecation is regarded as the key to a successful career, this puts enormous pressure on the applicants. It also causes social problems, as those who fail consider that they have disgraced their families.
It seems to me that the exams are unfair, for three reasons: First, applicants with different abilities are faced with the same type of exam paper, second, the results of a mere three days of examination affect the applicant』s whole future; and third, applicants who can afford private tutors usually score higher marks than those who are poorer, but perhaps more intelligent.
To improve the system of college entrance exams, I suggest the following steps: the exam papers should be graded to take into account the different levels of ability and the different backgrounds of the applicants; in addition to the actual exam, a complete assessment of the applicant』s ecational achievements should be made; and tutoring in examination techniques should be made available to all.
