They teach us truth, science, literature, and philosophy of life, besides they increase our knowledge, enlarge our experience, strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do without them.We have to learn as long as we live. But our life is limited, and the knowledge is boundless. There are many things which are very necessary to learn and there are also many which should be avoided. Books tell us what is good and what is evil. and only books can tell the good from the bad.
Therefore to read more books is the best policy for our young students。

小時候，不管我喜歡不喜歡，媽媽總會在睡覺前給我講一個「睡前故事」，還和我一起「讀書」。漸漸的，我就喜歡上了書本，一直想自己去看書。
慢慢地，我已經到了上幼兒園的年齡了。這個時候，我開始嘗試著去讀一些繪本了，這個時候的我，從繪本中明白了很多道理，懂了很多知識。而且，媽媽還給我訂了《幼兒畫報》，我看起來總是愛不釋手。有一次，我正在看《幼兒畫報》，媽媽大聲喊我吃飯，我卻連聽都沒聽見，繼續看自己的《幼兒畫報》，過了一會兒，媽媽等不及了，走過來讓我去吃飯，我這才夢如初醒般的，走到了飯桌上。
很快，我上小學了，媽媽就在郵局給我訂了《我們愛科學》、《小哥白尼》、《科學探索》等書，也在圖書館里借了很多書，還在網上給我買了很多好書!我呢，也經常習慣性地鑽研家裡的好書，很快，我就把很多書都鑽了個透，在這期間，我掌握了大量的知識，比如看科普類的書：我知道了樹是由頂端開始生長的、紙張最多可以折七次、蠟燭在水裡也可以燃燒、摩擦力在生活中的應用等;看歷史方面的書：讓我知道了中華五千年的文明歷史、知道了我國古代的四大發明、知道了很多的名人趣事、知道了「水可載舟，亦可覆舟」的深刻道理;看文學方面的書：讓我懂得了很多做人的道理、做人要善良、要有愛心、要懂得感恩、對他人要寬容、做事要持之以恆、要勇敢等。
因為大量的.閱讀，還讓我的學習更優秀。做數學題時，我能很快的讀懂題意，抓住關鍵點，巧妙解題;做語文的閱讀題時，由於閱讀量大，我很少在這上面失分。作文就更是我的強項，我的作文常被作為班裡範文呢!在寫博客的時候，因為閱讀量大，寫出的文章時常被推薦。
現在，我已經成為了一隻名副其實的小書蟲，閱讀呢，自然將伴著我成長。

一、適時創設情境，提供「聽」的機會，培養學生的口語交際能力
1.創設情境，提高興趣。
學生的英語口語交際能力的提高，關鍵是在英語口語交際的情境中訓練。老師們在理解教材的編排意圖後，因課擇法，精心設計，讓學生在玩、猜、畫、唱、演、賽等多種形式中進行英語口語交流，使學生在每次訓練中都處於新奇、興奮的積極狀態中，從而體驗成功的樂趣，激發學生積極運用英語口語交流的興趣。
2.提供「聽」的機會，培養學生的語音語調。
使學生掌握一定的語音、語調，建立初步的語感，獲得初步運用英語的能力，為真實交際打下基礎。新課標特別強調語言的實踐性，目的就是使學生掌握語音，形成正確的語感，從而提高學生的英語口語交際能力。因此在平常的課堂教學中，我們英語教師就要注意自己的語音語調，多聽純正的英語影像資料，並不斷提高自己的口語表達能力，採用「浸入式」的教學手段，給學生提供「聽」的機會，強化學生的語音語調，為培養學生的口語交際能力打下基礎。

葉聖陶先生說：「凡是技能，惟有在實踐中方能練就。」在口語交際中選擇的話題，應根據學生的年齡特點，選擇一些他們感興趣的事情，貼近學生的學習和生活。因為他們親身經歷過、感受過、實踐過，這樣他們才會有話可說，說得真實具體。所以教師在教學和生活中深入學生的生活，發現學生感興趣的話題，有針對性地引導。
2.多渠道、多方法激發學生「說」的慾望。
在口語交際中，學生對單一的教法缺乏新鮮感，所以我們要廣泛採用靈活、多樣的教學手段來激發學生「說」的慾望，讓學生在逼真的情境下和好玩的活動中敢說、多說、說好，能給學生提供一個表達自己思想、感情和意見的時間和空間。當學生急於說出內心想法時，要鼓勵學生抬頭說英語，目視對話者，以示真誠和專注，然後讓他們說出要說的內容，使消極的語言接受轉為主動的輸出，完成一個巧妙的過渡。
三、鼓勵閱讀，提供 「讀」的機會，提高學生的口語交際能力
我們要積極地開發和利用其他課程資源，如：英語報刊資源、網路學習資源以及校內外的環境資源等，在教學中我們藉助電教媒體的優勢，根據學生身心特點創設情境，引導學生對所學內容產生濃厚的興趣，激發、喚醒學生的情感以及內在的求知慾、好奇心，從而使學生積極主動地參與學習，並進入自主式閱讀的最佳學習狀態之中。同時，我們要鼓勵學生讀一些簡易故事、畫報、動畫片等，充分利用校內牆報，開辟英語角、英語之窗，給學生提閱讀的機會和環境，學生將會熱愛閱讀，最終使很多學生在課後形成自主閱讀的習慣，進一步提升他們對閱讀的積極性和對英語學習的興趣。
四、組織多種活動，提供 「寫」的機會，強化學生的英語口語交際能力
對於作業，教師可以開展星級書寫評比活動，學生的作業、英語作文達到一定的標准，就可以得星，定期評選出五星級書寫嘉賓，經過一段時間的訓練，學生英語寫作水平在原有基礎上有所提高以後，我們可以開展英語作文暨書寫大賽等活動。只要學生能夠積極參與，精心准備，活動中就會發現許多精緻的作品。針對好的作品我們要積極表揚並表彰，使學生樹立對英語的自信心，從而達到出口成章的效果。
