Television plays animportant role in our daily lives, which brings us both pleasure and hiddendanger. And therefore, more and more people start thinking advantages and disadvantages. Here are some my opinions as below.

First, when it comes to the advantages, we take delight in talking about that it provides with diverse variety of information, such TV series, news, advertisement and so on.All these broaden our sights vastly and make the whole world available even if we are sitting on a couch.

Second, when it comes to the disadvantages, the inevitable aspects are that it brings about massive negative or even pornographic messages. These really do harm to our development, especially for children.

To sum up,television is a double-edged sword. It is up to ourselves how to make the best use of this proction.
電視在我們的生活中扮演著重要角色，它帶給我們快樂的同時，也帶來一些隱患。現在越來越多的人開始討論電視的利與弊，以下是我個人的拙見。
首先，提到好處，被我們津津樂道的是它能帶給我們豐富多彩的信息，比如電視連續劇，新聞，廣告等等。電視極大地拓寬了我們的視野，讓我們足不出戶就能鳥瞰全世界。
其次，提到壞處，我們不可避免地要提到它帶來的大量負面，甚至色情的消息。這些對我們的生活會產生惡劣的影響，對小孩子們來說尤為嚴重。

In recent years television has become the most popular form of entertainment.It does not look as if it will be less popular in the world of the future.In fact,it looks as if television will become more popular than ever.
But television,like other things,has both advantages and disadvantages.For a fam ily of four,for example,it is more convenient as well as cheaper to sit comfortably at home,with almost unlimited entertainment available.They do not have to pay for ex pensive seats at the theatre,the cinema,or the opera.All they have to do is to press a button.
However,some people spend a lot of time watching TV every day.They become so dependent on TV programs that TV affects their work and study.Some programs such as violence or sex have a pernicious influence on children.
Do the television's advantages outweigh its disadvantages?I think we must realize that television in itself is neither good nor had,But how to use it is what really counts.
