讓我們踏著石 階一層層地盤旋而下，到達碑底。

我細細地觀察著紀念碑，兩根石拄往上升伸，在空中相交在一起，他像征著上海人民永遠團結奮進向上的精神。

石柱之間還夾著一塊石板，上面混厚有力地寫著「人民英雄級念碑」七個字。

在紀念碑的四周刻著一幅幅的浮雕記載了近百年來我國人民不屈不撓的革命斗爭的歷史，刻畫了革命前輩的英雄形象。

栩栩如生的雕刻，不襟使我想起軍民同心，浴血奮戰，推翻三座大山的艱苦歲月。

啊！外灘已經大變樣了。

它再也不是外國人的天地，而是我們中國人的樂園。
