記敘某個人物的經歷、活動或某件事情的經過離不開敘述的主體,即「人稱」。記敘文中的人稱大多採用第一人稱或第三人稱的形式。第一人稱的敘述主觀色彩較濃,可以增強文章的真實感,有利於表述細膩的情感和細節的過程;第三人稱的敘述可以超越時空的限制,更加真實、客觀地表述某一人物活動或事件的全過程。
無論採用第一人稱,還是採用第二人稱,都要保持全文敘述主體的.人稱的一致性。注意:句式盡量要多變,不要通篇文章的句子都以人稱代詞開頭,否則文章會顯得單調沉悶。例如: I loved the book first because of its beautiful heroine. Then I found it a romantic love story which
