1. 英文作文格式說明：
Title （標題）：寫英文作文時，若有標題之要求時，我們就必須物咐書寫題目；若無要求則無需書寫題目。
Indent （縮排）：英文作文每段開頭均須往內空4-5個英文字母。開頭英文字母要大寫。英文作文每段左方之每一行均須切齊，右方則否，保持「之字形」（zigzag）。
Punctuations （標點符號）：任何標點符號皆不可以至於英文句子的開頭。常用英文標點符號分類如下：

2. 段落結構
Introction （導論）：文章的引言，吸引讀者，闡明文意，導入正題。英文作文的引言必須包含Thesis Statement （論點），是整篇文章的靈魂所在。Thesis Statement常是在引言導論的最後一句。它就像是羅盤一般，有兩個主要功能：告訴讀著作者的想法思路；作者以它為指引，以免自己寫偏。
Body （內文）：把論點加以細項分類，並支持論點，深入討論。Body 必須包含Topic Sentence （主題句）。一般說來，主題句必須置於每一個Supporting Paragraph（支持段落）開始的第一句。主題句的用意在於說明整個段落的大意，是段落的摘要，也是段落內容的基礎。簡言之，Thesis Statement之於整篇文章的重要性，猶如Supporting Paragraph之於Body。
Conclusion （結論）：總結文章，重申論點。可再簡述文章要點，有時可提出引人省思的問題，但不宜再發展其它論點。
Order （次序）：次序指的是文章內容在文章中的組織、安排、或是組成序列。虛螞衡常用次序如下：
1. Chronological Order / Time Order （時間次序）：故事的發展需以時間為基礎，按時間的推移來發展。以事件或人物出現的先後次序來展開故事。
2. Spatial Order （空間次序）：作者根據空間的細節所做描述順序之安排。以一個物理位置為基礎，作者描述了可從該一位置所看到的景象、物體。描述順序有其聯貫性。ㄧ般由左到右，從前到後，或從上到下。
3. Ascending Order / Emphatic Order （遞增順序）：遞增順序有時被稱為「把最重要的留到最後」。這個方法把重點，也就是把文章最有趣、或重要的細節，放置在文章的最後一個支持的段落。最後的位置在一篇文章中，往往是最有力的位置。因為讀者最有可能記得最後提及的事情。最典型的用語有 「last of all,」 「the most important reason, part. . . 」等。
4. Descending Order （遞減順序）：相對於遞增順序，遞減順序把重點擺在文章的第一個支持論點的段落。也就是把文章最有趣、或重要的細節，放置在文章的開端。作者當然認為其他的論點也是重要的，只是他先提及相對而言最重要的部分。
2. 英語作文怎麼寫
英語作文的基本要求： 首先，一個段落必須有一個中心，即主題思想，該中心由主題句特別是其中的題旨來表達。
整個段落必須緊扣這個主題（stick or hold to the topic），這就是段落的統一性（unity）。其次，一個段落必須有若干推展句，使主題思想得到充分展開，從而給讀者一個完整的感覺，這就是完整性（pleteness or adequateness）。
再者，一個段落不是雜亂無章的，而是有機的組合，句子的排列順序必須合乎邏輯，從一個句子差做到另一個句子的過渡必須流暢（ *** ooth），這就是連貫性（coherence）。根據文章題目以及你所想要表示的意思下手，下面我們就對這三個標准分別加以說明。
1、統一性 一個段落內的各個句子必須從屬於一個中心，任何游離於中心思想之外的句子都是不可取的。請看下例： Joe and I decided to take the long trip we'd always wanted across the country. We were like young kids buying our camper and stocking it with all the necessities of life. Bella bakes the best rhubarb pie. We started out in early spring from Minneapolis and headed west across the northern part of the country. We both enjoyed those people we met at the trailer park. Joe received a watch at his retirement dinner. To our surprise, we found that we liked the warm southern regions very much, and so we decided to stay here in New Mexico. 本段的主題句是段首句，controlling idea（中心思想）是take the long trip across the country。
文中出現兩個irrelevant sentences，一個是Bella bakes the best rhubarb pie，這一段是講的是Joe and I ，中間出現一個Bella是不合適的。還有，Joe received a watch at his retirement dinner這一句更是與主題句不相關。
再看一個例子： My name is Roseanna, and I like to keep physically fit. I used to weigh o hundred pounds, but I joined the YMCA for an exercise class and diet program. In one year I lost eighty pounds. I feel much better and never want to have that much weight on my five-feet frame again. I bought o new suitcases last week. Everyday I practice jogging three miles, swimming fifteen laps, lifting enty-pound weights and playing tennis for one hour. My mother was a premature baby. 本段的controlling idea 是like to deep physically fit，但段中有兩個irrelevant sentences，一個是I bought o new suitcases last week，另一個是My mother was a premature baby。 從上面兩個例子可以看出，native speakers同樣會造出來irrelevant sentences。
卷面上如果這種句子多了，造成偏題或離題，那問題就更嚴重了。2、完整性 正象我們前面說得那樣，一個段落的主題思想靠推展句來實現，如果只有主題句而沒有推展句來進一步交待和充實，就不能構成一個完整的段落。
同樣，雖然有推展句，但主題思想沒有得到相對圓滿的交待，給讀者一種意猶未盡的感覺。這樣的段落也不能完成其交際功能。
例如： Physical work can be a useful form of therapy for a mind in turmoil. Work concentrates your thoughts on a concrete task. Besides, it is more useful to work —— you proce something rather than more anxiety or depression. 本段的主題句是段首句。本段的兩個推展句均不能回答主題句中提出的問題。
什麼是「a mind in turmoil」（心境不平靜）Physical work又如何能改變這種情況？為什麼它能起therapy的作用？讀者得不到明確的答案。因此，要達到完整就必須盡可能地簡明。
例如： It is not always true that a g筏攻摧紀詆慌搓葦撣倆ood picture is worth a thousand words. Often writing is much clearer than a picture. It is sometimes difficult to figure out what a picture means, but a careful writer can almost always explain it. 段首句所表達的主題思想是一種看法，必須有具體事例加以驗證。上述兩個推展句只是在文字上對主題作些解釋，整個段落內容空洞，簡而不明。
如果用一兩個具體的例子的話，就可以把主題解釋清楚了。比如下段： It is not always true that a picture is worth a thousand words. Sometimes, pictures are pretty useless things. If you can't swim and fall in the river and start gulping water, will you be better off to hold up a picture of yourself drowning, or start screaming "Help"?3、連貫性（coherence） 連貫性包括意連和形連兩個方面，前者指的是內在的邏輯性，後者指的是使用轉換詞語。
當然這兩者常常是不可分割的。只有形連而沒有意連，句子之間就沒有內在的有機的聯系；反之，只有意連而沒有形連，有時行文就不夠流暢。
1）、意連 段落中句子的排列應遵循一定的次序，不能想到什麼就寫什麼。如果在下筆之前沒有構思，邊寫邊想，寫寫停停，那就寫不出一氣呵成的好文章來。

需要注意的是：
1. Who
直接影響人稱的使用，第一人稱？第二人稱？
還是第三人稱？單數？還是復數？用詞都是不一樣的。
因此在審題時，就要根據題意選擇正確人稱。
若使用第三人稱，要注意其在一般現在時中的用法。動詞後需加s或es。
比如：
She likes apple. 還要注意人稱代詞的格式（主格和賓格）
比如：
He feels blue. I don t like him.
2. When
主要考慮四種時態：一般現在時、一般過去時、一般將來時、現在進行時，最常用的是前面三種。
3. Where
注意in, on, at三者的用法。
① at
都用於「小而具體」的名詞前，表達「在哪兒」。
例如：
at the cinema：在劇院
at the door：在門口
at the party：在晚會上
② in
in 的本意是「在……之內」，表示在地點名詞內部。

寫作是本人的老本行，高中一般都是21-23這個級別，大學英語作文被老師在班上推介為範文！！
對於作文，我說的最多的就是：不走尋常路！你不要以為在網上下載那些所謂的優秀作文，拿來背背，你就成為高手了，其實大錯特錯！因為我看了之後也覺得一般，甚至有些拙劣，嘩眾取寵的味道，比如有的所謂優秀作文竟然還用什麼be good at ，importance，very much，depend on，in my opinion ，completely 這樣低等的寫作詞彙，說它低等，那是因為這些詞彙已經廣為人知，閱卷老師已經看的麻木不仁了！
要寫出高人一等的作文，我覺得並不難，只要你有一定的語法基礎和一定量的寫作詞彙（越高級越好），寫作句型，就足可以應對常規的高考，四六級考試……（我記得高中25分滿分的作文我可以保持在21-23這個級別，四六級的作文都是110多分）
首先是語法，在你的語法達到一定層次之後，你就可以追求更多的變化了，比如，用虛擬語氣句型it is high time that we……代替常用的it is necessary that we should……，又如用倒裝句代替常見的平鋪直敘等，這樣可以增加你的語法亮點，讓已經有些麻木一直想睡覺的閱卷老師眼睛一亮，在你的試卷上多掃射一番！
其次，是詞彙，我覺得，在你的語法達到基本不會出錯的程度上，作文便應該以詞彙取勝，因為在這個層次上，大家的語法都差不多，沒什麼變化，唯一有變化的就是你的詞彙！給你打個比方吧，很多想到「許多」就用many，但是你別忘了many a ；handsome；massive，innumerable，a multitude of ；很多人想到「專家」就寫expert，但很少人會想到specialist，很多人在想到「擅長」這詞，就寫be good at ，卻不知還有更高級的表達法：be expert at 或者excel in …高手和庸才，就體現在這些細微的差別上！
再次，是怎麼將文章潤色，從而使你的文章大放異彩！！關於這方面，我覺得我自己使用最多的，也是我自創的------叫做「添油加醋」，包括如下幾個方面：盡可能地在形容詞前使用副詞，在介詞短語中加入適當的形容詞和副詞，在過去分詞前加入副詞，在名詞之前盡可能多用形容詞……，總之就是盡可能地使用形容詞和副詞。我覺得這樣做有一個好處，那就是使原本乾巴巴的句子變得血肉豐滿，比如：
