Sushi (壽司, Sushi) is a kind of food. Sushi comes from Japan, and has a long history. It's a popular dish in America, the UK, and many other countries.
Sushi is made with rice. All types of sushi have some kind of rice. The rice is mixed with vinegar. There are other things in it like vegetables and raw fish called "neta". Some sushi is wrapped in seaweed (sometimes called "nori"), some is not. Some kinds of fish are safe to eat raw, and do not make you ill.
There are different kinds of sushi. Nigiri sushi is made with fish or vegetables that are put on top of sushi rice. Maki sushi is made with fish or vegetables rolled up inside rice.
Sushi can be eaten with hands or chopsticks. Soy sauce, wasabi, gari (sweet, pickled ginger), and other toppings are often put on sushi.
In Japan, sushi is sometimes sold in 「conveyor-belt shops」, where plates of sushi are put on a moving belt which passes by the customers. People freely take the sushi they want as it passes. The color of the plate shows the price of the sushi. At some shops, any plate is 100 yen.

我曾經去過一個地方,一個有著許多美食的美食聖地,螃蟹、生魚片、拉麵、蕎麥面、壽喜燒、大阪燒、壽司…那裡的美食不計其數,走在那裡的大街上總會讓你眼花撩亂,不知該投向誰的懷抱,講到那裡,你或許已經猜到我說的是什麼地方了,沒錯!就是日本。
我到日本的第一個晚上就嘗到了拉麵的美味,那無與倫比的甜美湯頭,配上香Q的面條,好吃到無法言語啊!雖然口味是重了些,不過還是好吃!此時我突然想到,如果回三亞吃不到這么好吃的拉麵怎麼辦呢?這問題根本無解!我只好繼續吃我的拉麵,盡量不去想這個問題,才得以愉快點。
觀察日本人幾天後,我發現日本人很有人情味喔!不管是到餐廳用餐,還是到飾品店購物,都會受到熱情招待。在火車站要下車,只要說句日語的「不好意思」(等於借過),他們就會露出很對不起你的表情,然後讓你過。日本的街道干凈,運河完全沒垃圾,地板也沒「黃金」,沒有摩托車,當然空氣也就清新啦!從熱情招待到空氣清新,都可以看出日本人全體注重形象,不過那麼大的國家竟然形象還維持得那麼好,真不知道三亞這小地方要學習他們多少,要改進多少啊!
我在日本短短的兩個禮拜,過著皇帝般的生活,每天重覆著吃喝拉撒睡外加玩這五件事,過的好不自在啊!先是在札幌吃了一頓香甜多汁的螃蟹大餐,隔天我們到函館看夜景、吃壽喜燒,說到這函館夜景啊,它可是三大夜景之一喔!從山頂上往下看,看那燈火通明的市區,還有一大片黑鴉鴉的海水。從上空往下居高臨下的感覺 和那興奮的情緒,當時的心情是不能用言語表達的,大概要親自去才能了解吧!再接下來的每一個晚上,我又嘗到了許多美食,蕎麥面、壽司、炸豬豬排,我只要一回味起當時的滋味,我就會開始流口水,想要再吃一次,或許有朝一日我能再吃一次,我會一直期待著,直到我再一次吃到這些美食的那一天,我就心滿意足了。
這趟日本美食之旅令我回味無窮,也學到日本的好,我們三亞該怎麼改進,雖然我只是眾多人中的其中一人,但我相信只要有一個人改進,一定還會有第二、 第三個,這樣三亞就會變得和日本一樣,成為一個愛干凈、重人情味的地方。

Sukiyaki

Sushi

Buckwheat noodles
Buckwheat noodles or soba is also a typical Japanese dish. There are some people that eat soba at least once a day. Many office workers make it a habit to have soba for lunch. Soba noodles are a mixture of buckwheat, flour and eggs. It looks similar to spaghetti in shape. It is first boiled, and then dipped in a soup made of soy sauce, salt, sweet sake, and bonito shavings as it is being eaten. Because soba is long, it is considered a symbol of long life.

Soybean curd, called tofu is an ingredient originating in china that is made from the soybean. To make tofu, first soak beans in water for about 10 to24 hours. The softened beans are boiled, and then formed into blocks 10cm by 6cm by 4cm.
Soybeans, white and gelatinous, are a rich source of protein. A dish called hiyayako is eaten without cooking it, along with soy sauce, leeks, ginger, and so forth.
