I have lost two computers, but I had another one. I bought it about five years ago. It can be called curio. Though it was old. But it can still work. Although it works slowly, I was pleased. I can go on internet again. Chatting with my friends is a good relaxing. In the internet, one of my old friends invited me to tomorrow』s party. He told me that some friends would go, too. So I promised to go. A-ha! I can see my old friends. I was very happy and hopeful.

It was sunny today. I was excited. I got up at a quarter to seven. I made a appointment to meet at nine o』clock. After I had my breakfast, I went to the city center of Beijing. It was cold outside. When I arrived, my friends didn』t arrive. I waited for him in front of the KFC』s door. I haven』t seen them for a year. And in a year, we didn』t come into contact with others frequently. About ten minutes left, my friends arrived one by one. After we greeted, we went to the 5-star restaurant to have lunch. The lunch cost us 800 yuan. Oh, dear! Today was realiy boring.I went nowhere,I just stayed at home because the weather was rainy.The rain was raining heavily in the sky.And there was much dirty water on the ground.
I watched TV,but all the shows were long and long soap operas.I didn't like them!Then I read a book,but they were too difficult for me.So I couldn't get it！Computer games were also difficult and boring...

Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country.
I get up at six o』clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o』clock.
After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o』clock.Then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.

Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.

While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).
When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.

It is the ty of every citizen to make the country rich and powerful (To make the country rich and strong is...). In order to accomplish this object one must be patriotic (love his country). I consider this an unchangeable truth.
How can a student love his country (be patriotic)? I find my answer very simple and clear. He must study hard and store up knowledge so as to serve his (the) country in the future. If every student can do according to what I said, the country will certainly be rich and powerful.
要使國家富強是每個公民的責任。為了達到此目的，必須愛國。我認為這是一條不易的定理。

There is no enumerating the evils of dishonesty here. In a word, a dishonest man will be looked down upon by others and (be) regarded as a public enemy.
英國有一句諺語說「誠為上策」。它說明了誠的重要性。
誠的益處是什麼？如果你對他人誠實，他們也會對你誠實作為報答。當你憂悉的時候，他們會安慰你。當你是處在困難中的時候，他們會幫助你。

第十三天：HOW EXERCISE HELPS 運動的利益
If our bodies are not strong, our spirit to do things will certainly be quite ll. And at the same time, we are lack of energy (ies) to study. Diseases will only attack the weak, but not the strong.
Why are our bodies not strong? Because we do not pay attention to exercise. For this reason, we students must often take different kinds (sorts) of exercise in the gym.
Exercise helps us (to) strengthen our bodies and avoid disease. It also teaches us cooperation, for most exercise is played by team.
如果我們的身體不強壯，我們做事的精神一定會十分遲鈍。而且同時，我們也缺少足夠的精力來讀書。疾病只為侵擊體弱的人而不是強壯的人。

In the first place, traveling increases our knowledge. Only by traveling can we see （因為用（only）開頭，主動詞須顛倒）things outside our home town.
In the second place, traveling is good to our health. While we are traveling, we usually exercise our bodies.
In conclusion, I earnestly hope that everybody must seize (grasp at) the opportunity of traveling.

He is to (must) be ready to sacrifice even his own life for the country.His second ty is to obey the law and help the government (to) maintain order. If everybody can do so, the country will be rich and strong (powerful).
我的志向是做一個好公民以便能給國家效力。然而，做一個好公民不是一件容易的事情。他有許多責任要盡。一個好公民第一件責任是愛他的國家。他須准備為國家犧牲自己的生命。他第二件責任是服從法律並且幫助政府維持治安。如果人人都能這樣做的話，國家必定富強。
第十六天：THE NATIONAL FLAG 國旗
it is the ty of every citizen to honor the national flag. Why? Because the national flag is the symbol of a (the) country. To respect it means to respect the country. In other words, if a man loves his country, he must love the national flag.
In school, the national flag is usually raised at a certain time every day. Then the principal, teachers, staff and students are to (must) stand before it and sing the national anthem. It is indeed extremely meaningful to attend such a ceremony.

Today, I still went to my mother』s office. My mother was very busy, so was my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they will manage the factory. I was very unlucky that my mp3 was stolen. I was very sad. I didn』t know why thieves went to steal other』s things. Why don』t they hunt for a job? I don』t why! When I got home, it was very dark. Why? There is no electric. Every year in Beijing, there is lack of electric to supply. Because there are a lot of factories. And it is very cold in winter. So the government decided: supply electric to resident and the factories must stop working. My house is in the manufacturing district. I was unlucky. It was very cold. So my father use the electric making machine to make electric. Oh! What a unlucky winter!

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father』s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who don』t live in Beijing. On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries.
