春節，是農歷正月初一，又叫陰歷年，俗稱"過年"。這是我國民間最隆重、最熱鬧的一個傳統節日。春節的歷史很悠久，它起源於殷商時期年頭歲尾的祭神祭祖活動。按照我國農歷，正月初一古稱元旦，俗稱大年初一，而之前則是年三十兒了。是世界上起源最早，參與的人最多的節日之一。
今天是臘月二十九了，中國最喜慶的傳統節日——春節就要到了。早晨，本想睡個懶覺的我被聲聲鞭炮叫醒，我便穿上衣服，跑了出去。
雖然是早晨，但街上早已經熱鬧非凡。
一個攤位前站了很多人，我也忙過去湊熱鬧。只見一位老書法家正在為大家寫春聯，現在春節多用印製的春聯，固然好看，但用老人們的話說「喜慶的年味淡了」。這位老爺爺親筆寫的春聯，字蒼勁勁有力，雖然周圍沒有好看的花邊，但仍然最受大家的喜愛。
再往前走，一個地方擠滿了小孩子，我忙走過去，想看個究竟。原來這是一個鞭炮攤。在櫃台上，各式各樣的鞭炮琳琅滿目，有早上放的鞭炮，白天放的爆竹，晚上放的煙火；有大孩子放的「水雷」，小孩子放的摔炮，真是應有盡有。
街市上，無論買什麼動起的攤子，生意都很好。中國人自古就有在快過年的時候買新衣服，買生活用品，理發，洗澡等習俗。因此商家門都有很好的生意。
回到家，爸爸媽媽已經忙起來了！只見媽媽利索地擦洗著桌椅、門窗、地板，屋子的里里外外都被媽媽擦洗得乾乾凈凈，就連櫃子後面、床下面這些犄角旮旯的地方都被掃的一塵不染。再看爸爸，他小心翼翼地用透明膠布把春聯貼在門口的牆上，然後和樓上的叔叔阿姨一起，把樓道打掃的乾乾凈凈。
最具文化內涵和傳統魅力的春節已經伴隨我們中國人幾千年了，它富含辭舊迎新、感恩上蒼、聯絡親情、傳播民間娛樂等意義，是我們中華文化的結晶。我們要一代一代的把他傳承和發揚下去
