the man who know the future(知道未來的人) Nasreddin was cutting a branch of a tree in his garden. While he was sawing, another man passed in the street. He stopped and said, "Excuse me, but if you continue to saw that branch like that, you will fall down with it." He said this because Nasreddin was sitting on the branch and cutting it at a place between himself and the trunk of the tree.Nasreddin said nothing. He thought, "This is some foolish person who has no work to do and goes about telling other people what to do and what not to do."The man continued on his way.Of course, after a few minutes, the branch fell and Nasreddin fell with it."My God!" he cried. "That man knows the future!" and he ran after him to ask how long he was going to live. But the man had gone.
1、The Dog And The Shadow
A DOG, crossing a bridge over a stream with a piece of flesh in his mouth, saw his own shadow in the water, and took it for that of another Dog, with a piece of meat double his own in size. He therefore let go his own, and fiercely attacked the other Dog, to get his larger piece from him. He thus lost both: that which he grasped at in the water, because it was a shadow; and his own, because the stream swept it away.
2、Let me take it down
An elephant said to a mouse ,"no doubt that you are the smallest znd most useless thing that Ihave e ver seen ."
"Pless ,say it again .Let me take it down ."the mouse said ."I will tell a flea what I know."
3、After his father five-star hotel door and saw a very luxury imported cars.
Son of disdain for his father, said: "The people who take such a vehicle, necessarily Moyouxuewen stomach!"
Father answered lightly: "say such things, certainly no money pocket。"
(Note: Your view of things, is not it also reflects the real attitude of your heart?)
4、God's Coffee
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation
soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee. When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing
each other's cups. Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us."
God brews the coffee, not the cups.......... Enjoy your coffee!
"The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just
make the best of everything."
Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply.
Speak kindly.
Leave the rest to God.

(The Dog and the Shadow)
It happened that a Dog had got a piece of meat and was carrying it home in his mouth to eat it in peace. Now, on his way home he had to cross a plank lying across a running brook. As he crossed, he looked down and saw his own shadow reflected in the water beneath. Thinking it was another dog with another piece of meat, he made up his mind to have that also. So he made a snap at the shadow in the water, but as he opened his mouth the piece of meat fell out, dropped into the water and was never seen more.
Beware lest you lose the substance by grasping at the shadow.

Angel
Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born.
One day the child asked God: "They tell me you are going to send me to earth tomorrow but
how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
God replied: "Among the many angels, I have chosen one for you. She will be waiting for
you and will take care of you."
"But, " said the child: "tell me here in Heaven I don『t anything else but sing and smile.
That『s what I need to be happy!"
God said: "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And you will
feel your angel『s love and be happy."
"And," said the child: "how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me, If
I don『t know the language that men talk?"
"That『s easy", said God: "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words
you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."
The child looked up at God saying: "And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"
God smiled at the child saying: "Your angel will Place your hands together and will
teach you how to pray."
The child said: "I『ve heard on earth there are bad men. Who will Protect me?"
God put his arm around the child, saying: "Your angel will defend you - even if it means
risking life!"
The child looked sad, saying: "But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."
God hugged the child: "Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you
the way to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you."
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from earth could already be
heard.
The child, in a hurry, asked softly: "Oh God, if I am about to leave now Please tell my
Angel』s name!"
God replied: "Your angel『s name is of no importance...you will simply call her MOMMY!"

1、The Lion, The Bear And The Fox(獅子、熊與狐狸)Long ago a lion and a bear saw a kid. They sprang upon it at the same time. The lion said to the bear, 「I caught this kid first, and so this is mine.」
"No, no," said the bear.「I found it earlier than you, so this is mine.」 And they fought long and fiercely. At last both of them got very tired and could no longer fight.
A fox who hid himself behind a tree not far away and was watching the fight between the lion and the bear, came out and walked in between them, and ran off with the kid.
The lion and the bear both saw the fox, but they could not even catch the fox.
The lion said to the bear, 「We have fought for nothing. That sly fox has got the kid away.」
2、The Boys And The Frogs(男孩與青蛙)One spring day some naughty boys were playing near a pond. They began to throw stones into the water. In the pond lived many frogs were much afraid of the boys, for the stones hurt some of the frogs.
At last an old frog lifted his head out of the water and said, 「Boys, please don』t throw stones at us.」
The boys said, 「We are only playing.」 「I know that, but please stop throwing stones, my boys. What is play to you is death to us,」 said the old frog.
So the boys stopped throwing stones and went away.
3、Ye Gong was well-known for his fondness for dragons: In the house where he lived, dragons were painted on the walls and carved on the pillars and the four walls of his bedroom.
There were dragons everywhere, up and down, front and back, with each dragon baring its teeth and brandishing1 its claws.
In the heavens there was a real dragon. It was very happy to hear that Ye Gong was so fond of dragons.
One day, the sky suddenly darkened, and then came wind, thunder and rain. The real dragon flew to Ye Gong's home. It poked2 its head into the window in the south and coiled its tail to the window in the north, rocking and rattling3 the whole house.
At the sight of this real dragon, Ye Gong was frightened out of his wits. He trembled all over and hurriedly hid himself.
So it turned out that what Ye Gong liked was painted and carved fake dragons but not real ones.
Zi qin once asked Mohist, "Teacher, it is true that the more you say the more attention you will get from people?"
Mohist answered, "The grog and hop1 toad2 never stop shouting from day to night, but they get little from people. The rooster only sings only for a few minutes in the morning and wakes up all the people. So, it is not necessarily advisable to speak a lot."
It doesn't matte how much you say, what matters is whether you can hit the nail on the head.
5、An old woman had a cat. The cat was very old; she could not run quickly, and she could not bite, because she was so old.
One day the old cat saw a mouse; she jumped and caught the mouse. But she could not bite it; so the mouse got out of her mouth and ran away, because the cat could not bite it.
Then the old woman became very angry because the cat had not killed the mouse. She began to hit the cat. The cat said, "Do not hit your old servant. I have worked for you for many years, and I would work for you still, but I am too old.
Do not be unkind to the old, but remember what good work the old did when they were young."
The sick lionBut the farmer did not leave because he needed some carrots to make soup. Then the rabbit had another idea, he would dig under to the lettuce patch and go home, he will get muddy if he did that but if that was the only way to go home he will do it. When he got up he took a bath, when he got out he had a nice meal with his family.A lion, no longer able, from the weakness of old age, to hunt for his prey, laid himself up in his den, and, breathing with GREat difficulty, and speaking with a low voice, gave out that he was very ill indeed. The report soon spread among the beasts, and there was great lamentation for the sick lion. One after the other came to see him; but, catching him thus alone, and in his own den, the lion made an easy prey of them, and grew fat upon his diet.
