A Summary for this Semester

It comes the final of this term . Looking backward to so many things happened ring the past five months , I suddenly felt I grew up quickly from the series of problems I had ever met . Life is so difficult sometimes , putting a lot of troubles together in front of you . Maybe it is god teaching me how to face the reality ---- life in fact is not always as beautiful as the sun , the sky would be angry sometimes , god would also burst into tears . And so is my life .

This term is much more important because of the exam of TEM4 and class and major 『s division . What is more , when the TEM4 examination came , I was afflicted seriously with the disease of depression and hurt by the long – term separation with 「Martian」 . It was really the hardest time for me . I cannot remember how many times I cried , even want to give up everything even life . But I dared not . I was still clear that I must overcome the trouble , I believed that everything would turn to be much better as far as I tried again and again . God won』t let an encouraged and determined and brave heart down ! So I walked steadily from side to side till I welcome the may holidays . I would never forget those kindly friends who helped and accompanied me go through those grey days . Jake ; Gary ;Mr Wang , who I consider as my intimate brother ; James Xu , whose mother treated me as well as her own daughter when I was in Shanghai ring the spring holidays ; and my first boyfriend , my classmates and roommates … of course my family especially my dear mother is the greatest power for me to continue my way .

realize that my score in this English test is too bad and my grade decreased a lot.Thus,I need to work hard in future.I make a plan to do the following things.I will read our textbook for longer time than before,and I will do more practice questions.If I have some questions,I will ask my teacher right away.Also,I will listen to the lecture much more carefully,and work harder on our homework.And I will preview and/or review our textbook for at least 30 minutes everyday after I finish my homework.I promise that my grade will increase after I make these efforts.Work hard!

I like English very much. Though college teachers are not so strict with the students, I myself work very hard. I preview each unit before I go to Engliish classes. I also take notes of the key points and actively participate in all the discussions or group work in class. I always finish assignments carefully and review lessons in time.
My hard work is rewarding. I got a high grade in th mid-term test. I made great progress in listening and speaking. I hope I will have a better performance in the final.

My English Study Summary

Time flies. It is near the end of the second year of my college life.

I ask myself，「what did you do these two years? Do you make progress with each passing day?」

Several days ago, I just wrote a blog which title was 「what would do if you were a freshman?」 It seems that I missed many good things and should be much better. However, it is no sense to regret what we didn』t get but to look forward in the future and learn a lesson from the past.

I suppose most of my school time I focus my main attention on my study. At first, I thought the textbook, e.g. A New English Course, outdated and boring, but later I really found there were too many things I hadn』t master well. So why don』t I try to be more patient? Just like New Concept English III is no more interesting than our textbook, but every time I recite these classical passages, I indeed lose myself in them. It sounds a little strange to some people, but it』s indeed the voice from my heart.

Before I entered the college, I guessed the most disgusting career was to be a teacher, especially an English teacher. Well, it』s my life! I chose my major in English teaching! Fortunately, I become more and more interest in English. The only thing I want to do right now is to reach a higher level of English study. English is just a tool. Life is so beautiful and enjoyable that I shouldn』t waste all my time on grammar, vocabulary but to appreciate it . I know it takes lots of time and energy to achieve this goal.. Actually, I have been always trying. I am crazy about the English public speech and enjoy the process of writing the script and the feeling on the stage. Once I put all my heart on preparing the examinations of intermediate and advanced interpretation. I can be very proud to tell anyone I haven』t waste the time in the past two years, but merely I hope I could be better. I got the point that I developed the interest of English later than some of my counterparts. Therefore I have a long way to go and I know I have gained the confidence.

The coming final examinations, I』m certain I will make every effort to finish them well. Meanwhile, I have made a complete plan for the summer.

Thank you, English! You help me meet many amusing teachers and friends. I never know what I am going to get on the way to the summit of English study.
