Yao Ming's influence on Chinese Society
This photo was taken on （日期）. From the bout between two excellent centers of the NBA history, the public all realize that the NBA has come to the Yao Ming Dynasty.
But 5 years ago, people obviously didn』 think so. At year 2002, when YaoMing came to America and became a member of Houston Rockets, he was only a big boy aged 22. On his arrival, the America society wasn』t quite suit him, his new life was not as easy as in China. Two days after his comments, however, Yao scored 20 in a Rockets victory over the Lakers. And Barkley had to kiss a donkey『s behind on national television.

|YaoMing was born September 12, 1980 in ShangHai. At 226 centimeters he is one of the tallest men in the NBA. He has played basketball all of his life but in 1997 he joined the ShangHai Sharks. In 1998 YaoMing joined the Chinese National team. In the year 2000 Yao joined the All-Star team of Asia. Last year YaoMing was selected first in the NBA Draft by Houston. He was one of few first year players to make the NBA All-Star team. He has gotten off to a good start with the Houston Rockets this year by scoring 19 points in his first game.
