既然總是要失去的，為什麼我們要拚命去抓緊？
在搏鬥之中，老人始終沒有放棄。在第一次交鋒中失去了魚叉，他用小刀繼續捍衛自己，小刀失去後，船槳、木棍.....一切可用之物都被他作為了武器，即便是最後面對險惡的鯊魚群，即便是自己的大魚已被鯊魚咬掉絕大部分。
我想，「活在當下，把握現在」八個字，他做到了。
抵抗與否，結果可能都是一樣，不同的是，老人無悔。
