當時百萬漢軍團團包圍了垓下，而項羽身邊只有八百名壯士了，項羽感嘆自己空有一身頂天立地的力氣，卻不能打敗敵軍，發出了一聲「虞姬虞姬，為之奈何」的悲嘆。
虞姬為了不託累夫君，希望他能夠殺出重圍，所以刎頸自殺。項羽與八百壯士在虞姬後，勇敢的殺出了百萬大軍的包圍，但項羽在最後准備渡過烏江時，卻選擇了放棄，最終被漢軍所殺。
