When a plane from London arrived at Sydney airport, workers began to unload a number of wooden boxes which contained clothing. A man was lying in the box on top of a pile of woolen goods. He was so surprised at being discovered that he did not even try to run away. 『貳』 關於英語定語從句的幾個選擇題 求英語高手

雖然本貼已經採納，但我發現第一題有問題。如果不是樓主在London前漏抄了介詞in的話，這就是一謬題，回答也是錯誤的。

為不誤人子弟，特評論此題。

此題為緊跟時事題：

葉詩文，1996年3月1日生於浙江杭州，中國女子游泳隊運動員。

2012年7月28日 倫敦奧運會女子400米個人混合泳冠軍（4分28秒43打破世界紀錄）[2]。

2012年7月31日 倫敦奧運會女子200米個人混合泳冠軍（2分07秒57打破奧運會紀錄）

題句為此事而編。是一新編題，出處不知，網上暫時還找不到。所以不好判斷究竟是樓主粗心漏打了介詞in還是命題者的失誤。

我估計是前者！請樓主現身，再去看一眼題目。如果是你抄漏了題，請向採納者道歉，因為你的粗心，而導致他作出了錯誤的回答。

評樓主第一題：

樓主的標題定位是：關於英語定語從句的幾個選擇題, 不知道是樓主自己的歸納還是練習冊上本身將這幾題歸入定語從句題。如是，則很有可能是編者的問題。

A where B that C in which D which

1. 如果本題確實是定語從句題，則是一個限制性的定語從句。主句是It is London. It 指代不清，需要上文。

2. London倫敦是一個專有名詞，世人皆知，無需限制。即使是需要對沒學過世界地理、世界歷史的小學一年級學生說起她，需要補充說一句，如：London, (which is ) the capital city of England,用的非限制性定語從句，前應有逗號，如果要對體育迷們補充一項，最多是說：where the 2012 Olympic Games was held. 也不會補充 葉詩文 在這個城市的表現來說事。

3. 作為非限制性定語從句，如果能用where, 則用in which 表示「in London」 完全是正確的。則此題有兩個答案。回答者說只能用where, 或盡量用where是不能讓人信服的。

4. 是的，引導定語從句的where ,不是任何時候都可以改用in which的，同樣，不是所有引導定語從句的介詞+which都可以改用where的。例如：

He is sitting at the table 【under which】 there is a cat. 這個under which不能改成where,因為where沒有under which的解釋。where只有in/on/at/to which的作用。

The desk 【in which】 he put some papers ...., 這里的in which 也不能用where,

the farm 【where】 he worked ten years ago.... 這里的where可換成on which ,不宜用in which, 因為習慣說on the farm

不過，多數情況下，地點名詞+where-定語從句，where都可以用in which來替換。

所以，我判斷，此題原應是一強調句：

答案為B

譯：葉詩文是在倫敦才因為她在游泳池裡的傑出表現而得到世界認可的。

言下之意，不是在北京，更不是在杭州，盡管她之前在省里，甚至在國內都有名氣了，但世界公認，是在2012倫敦奧運會取得了兩塊金牌並打破了世界和奧運記錄之後的事。

不強調的句子是：inLondon Ye Shiwen got worldly recognized for her excellent performance in the swimming pools.
強調的是過去發生過的事情中的地點狀語從句，用that不用where,也不用in which, 而這正是學生容易弄錯的地方。

另外，其強調結構詞是It was .... that ...., 如果在London前加in的話，it's 也要改成was,

如果樓主漏打in (有這可能），總不會將it was 打成It's吧？ 所以，還是判斷：本題有誤！！！

見正達美老師對第三題也提出異議，一看，發現採納者這一題也答錯了，細想，發現這一題同樣有誤：Yao Ming announced his retirement on July 20 of 2011()he will never forget in his life.

搜索網路，同樣沒有找到此題。只找到：

On July 20, 2011, Yao Ming announced his retirement from professional basketball.

出現在浙江省杭州地區2012年最新中考英語模擬試題39的閱讀理解題中：

A Basketball star Yao Ming announced his retirement on July 20th of 2011 after a great career that made him China』s best-known athlete and helped improve the game』s global growth.

看來命題者是一個體育愛好者。

作為一句話，Yao Ming announced his retirement on July 20 of 2011已經相對完整。無需限制性定語從句，也不需要同位語從句。而本題句卻在後面加上了一個限制性的定語從句，也不知道先行詞到底是整句話所表示的內容還是2011年七月20日這個日期。應該有個逗號，是非限制性的定語從句才對。

he（應該是指YM本人吧）will never forget 【it】in his life. 這應該是還原後的一句話，作為非限制性定語從句，作為一個補充，則關系詞應該是用關系代詞which才對！可惜的是，四個選項中就是沒有這個which! 你說，這不是個謬題嗎？！

最後看一下第二題：

Traveling，especially traveling abroad，has become a fashion，（）is common even in the western area in China.
A that B it C as D in which
確實只能選C，但是那是命題都逼的！as有「正如。。。那樣」的意思。如果是填空題，我更願意填which

譯：旅行，尤其是去國外旅行，已經成為一種時尚，這個，甚至在中國的西部地區也很普遍。

有了even, 這里用as,我感覺很不通！

又是一謬題！

琳達和大衛坐飛機從倫敦到悉尼（旅行）。
註：
1. 這里的travel不一定是強調旅行，一般與by air搭配泛指坐飛機。也可以說take the plan, take the flight. 坐火車說travel by train或take the train.
2.句中用了have+V.ed形式(動詞過去式），是過去完成時，強調已經發生或完成的動作。

A Day』s Visit to Changyu Stone Crave
Mike, a foreign teacher, teaches English in a school in Wenling. He likes traveling. On National Day, he and his friends went on their first trip to Changyu Stone Crave. They went on a bus. They set off at 7:00 and arrived at 8:00. On the bus, they played cards, talking, laughing and kept enjoying the beautiful scenery outside the window. Mike spent ￥1000 on the trip. He had a wonderful time and had a big lunch there.
The trip seemed short, but his memory of the pleasant trip will last long！

I am a middle school student. I am a bit poor in my study. I often meet some difficulties, such as I can』t work out some maths and physics problems, and can』t remember English words, and so on. My parents are often anger with me. I am very sorry. I think I am not clever. Sometimes I was discouraged. But my teachers are good to me, and my good friends often encourage me, and help me. They are so kind-hearted that I get the confidence again. I work harder than before. I know that 「 No pain, No Gain.」. So does the life. The flowers are full of sweat and hard work.
