第一復段，重點描述圖畫內容。這點制在題干中也有強調(with a brief description of the picture)。對圖畫內容的描述可以飲用圖畫中人物的對話。簡要描述即可，不用發散或挖掘。也就意味著，事實上你若看不懂圖畫中的"核廢物"之，其實沒關系，照抄就好。

英語四級的作文為作文106.5分。
寫作部分測試學生用英語進行書面表達的能力，所佔分值專比例為15%，考試時間30分鍾。屬寫作測試選用考生所熟悉的題材，要求考生根據所提供的信息及提示(如：提綱、情景、圖片或圖表等)寫出一篇短文，四級120-180詞，六級150-200詞。
