【新舊題型對比】：

舊題型：四篇文章，每篇文章5個選擇題，10分，閱讀理解部分共計40分。

新題型：將閱讀部分重新劃分，為3個題型。一、保留了原來的多向選擇題。二、增加了兩個新題型，選詞填空和正誤判斷。多選題加選詞填空題共25分，判斷題10分。

綜合測試——

【新題型變化】：新題型第三部分叫綜合測試，佔15%。除新增改錯題外和原來的題型沒有太大差別。

【新舊題型對比】：

翻譯題保留，成為必考題。而且由原來的「英譯漢」，變成了現在的「漢譯英」，佔5分。舊題型：試卷綜合測試部分每年只考一種題，完形填空、簡短回答問題、翻譯這3個可供選擇的題型，每次只選一個。

legeEcation？」這是一篇基本沒有模式的說明文。2001年以後的10次四級作文沒有出現過一次議論文，除了2002年6月、2003年1月以及2001年1月有三次說明文外，5次為應用文2次為記敘描寫文。最後這兩類文章基本沒有寫作模式，要求也不高，只要能夠把觀點交代清楚，把時間的前因後果記述清楚就可以了，是考查考生英語表達基本功的最佳方式，因此近年來成為出現頻率最高的題型。

新題型中的作文考試會與前幾年一樣，繼續強調能力測試。考說明文、應用文可能性比較大。
