聽力 為了適應新的形勢下社會對大學生英語聽力能力需求的變化，進一步提高聽力測試的效度，全國大學英語四、六級考試委員會自2016年6月考試起將對四、六級考試的聽力試題作局部調整。

調整的相關內容說明如下：①取消短對話 ②取消短文聽寫 ③新增短篇新聞（3段），其餘測試內容不變。

閱讀理解 閱讀理解部分包括1篇長篇閱讀和3篇仔細閱讀，測試學生在不同層面上的閱讀理解能力，包括理解篇章或段落的主旨大意和重要細節、綜合分析、推測判斷以及根據上下文推測詞義等能力。

該部分所佔分值比例為35%，其中長篇閱讀佔10%，仔細閱讀佔25%。

考試時間40分鍾。

翻譯 翻譯部分測試學生把漢語所承載的信息用英語表達出來的能力，所佔分值比例為15%，考試時間30分鍾。

翻譯題型為段落漢譯英。

翻譯內容涉及中國的歷史、文化、經濟、社會發展等。

四級長度為140-160個漢字，六級長度為180-200個漢字。

長篇閱讀部分採用1篇較長篇幅的文章，總長度四級約1000詞，六級約1200詞。

閱讀速度四級約每分鍾100詞；六級約每分鍾120詞。

篇章後附有10個句子，每句一題。

每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落，要求考生找出與每句所含信息相匹配的段落。

有的段落可能對應兩題，有的段落可能不對應任何一題。

仔細閱讀部分要求考生閱讀3篇短文。

2篇為多項選擇題型的短文理解測試，每篇長度四級為300-350詞，六級為400-450詞；1篇為選詞填空，篇章長度四級為200-250詞，六級為250-300詞。

短文理解每篇後有若干個問題，要求考生根據對文章的理解，從每題的四個選項中選擇最佳答案。

選詞填空要求考生閱讀一篇刪去若干詞彙的短文，然後從所給的選項中選擇正確的詞彙填空，使短文復原。

作文：15%，合106.5分；快速閱讀：10%合71分，每個7.1分；聽力客觀題（單選）：25%合177.5分每個7.1分；聽力主觀題（復合式聽寫）：10%合71分，前八個每個3.55分共28.4分，後三個每個14.2分，共42.6分；篇章詞彙理解（選詞填空）；10%合71分，每個7.1分；仔細閱讀理解：15%合106.5分，共10個每個10.65分。

作文的主題，也同樣可以分為＂中性話題、負面話題和正面話題＂三類。

（1）＂負面、消極話題＂需要在作文的二、三段闡述這個負面話題產生的原因、危害弊端和解決的措施策略； （2）＂中性一般話題＂需要闡述這個話題或現象產生的原因，並且適當發表個人見解看法； （3）＂正面、積極話題「，則盡量論述這個話題的意義、重要性和價值以及這個話題對考生帶來的啟發。
