I am glad that you are coming to Shandong this summer holiday. I have told my parents and they welcome you and are happy about it too.
There are a lot of beatiful and historic place in Shandong. Shandong, Qufu is the hometown of the great philosopher Confucius. Qufu served as the capital of the State of Lu ring the Spring and Autumn Period. Many of the major cultural sites in the city are all associated with Confucius, such as the three sites of the Temple of Confucius, the Cemetery of Confucius, and the Kong Family Mansion.
The other place that we must visit is Mount Tai. It is one of the Five Sacred Mountains. Back in the ancient times, Mount Tai is one of the principal places where the emperor would pay homage to heaven (on the summit) and earth (at the foot of the mountain).
