如何做一名成功的小學英語教師
前段時間聽了教授的講座《中小學教師專業發展的方法和路徑》感觸頗深。辜教授在講座中從中小學教師應理性地明晰高位參培的價值;形成教師專業成長與發展的認同;著力提升高位教師的競爭能力等三大方面闡述了教師專業發展的方法和路徑。其中,辜教授提到了教師職業的三種境界:經師、能師和仁師,這三種境界一語道破了教師成長的三個階段,闡明了我們一線教師應追求的目標和方向。
原始積累:做一個好的經師
一名優秀的教師必然是一個好的經師,滿腹經綸而知天下事,腹有詩書氣自華。當一位教師剛剛走上工作崗位的時候,名師對他來說是一個可望而不可及的目標,如果好高騖遠,一味模仿只會建造出一座空中樓閣,咋一看很漂亮,風一吹便倒塌。所以,新教師必須踏踏實實地做好一名經師。學習備課、上課;學習處理課堂突發事情;學習和學生交流。所以這里的原始積累不僅是上課的基本技能的學習,還有做好一名教師的基本素質的培養。曾經有很多 人在教學和教育上一再爭論,是教育為先還是教學為先?我想,毋庸置疑,學生首先應學做人然後才是學習文化知識。所以,這里的經師首先應是一名教師,然後才是一名學科教師。我們也有很多年青教師專業素質極好,參加過一些賽課,因而就覺得自己是個優秀的教師,殊不知,這樣還不是一名合格的經師。這一階段的老師必須認真踏實地修煉自己的基本功,做到和學生心意相通。「授人魚不如授人以漁」,一名好的教師,他教給學生更多的不是知識而是學習的動力。記得北京特級教師劉瑩在講座時曾說過她很多的學生英語學得都很棒,但並不是從她這兒學到的。也就是說學生學習的渠道有很多,就說我們小學英語吧,學生在課堂上學到的其實微乎其微,更多的是通過其他的方式或是以後的學習中學到的。所以,一名優秀的小學英語教師並在在於她的語言多麼優美和標准(當然語言標准也很重要),更重要的是他能否給予學生學習的動力,而且讓這股動力支撐著他的學生不斷在這個領域攀登。一位新時期的優秀教師首先應是一名經師,一名積累了一定教學經驗的能和學生溝通的老師。
智慧提升:做一名好的能師
一位教師如果僅是一名經師,那隻能算是一名基本合格的教師。在經歷過經師的原始積累後應著力提升為一名能師。能,技能,能力,能師是經師的智慧提升。這個階段教師應具備優異的教學能力和良好的性格品質。優異的教學能力來源於教師對自己教學的不斷反思和實踐。從具體的教學實踐來看,教師對自己的教學有了理性的思考,不再是一味依賴教科書,不再盲目崇拜專家學者,對教育教學有了自我調節和完善的能力。要做一名能師首先應從忙忙碌碌的經師狀態中跳出來,站到一定的高度去審視自己的教育教學行為。就像我們在教學中經常會為一個環節的設計絞盡腦汁,想著怎麼樣更合理,怎樣學生更容易接受。當煞費心機地想出了一些新的方法卻發現學生根本不需要鋪墊就能接受了。教學中如果我們多換位思考,就會有更有效的教學行為。所以,能師,首先應是一名智慧型的老師。其次,能師更應是一名思考型的老師。這樣的老師有著自己理性反思基礎上的個性規劃。這也是辜教授講座中所說的教學三境界「行動、心動、神動」中的「心動」境界,用心去思考,用心去實踐,用心去創造。要發展成能師必須要基於教學,不人雲亦雲,尋找自己教學研究的生長點,讓自己的專業個性鮮明起來。
特色蘊育:追求仁師境界
辜教授在講座中提到:教師的最高職業境界是「仁師」境界,也就是我們平時所說的大師。大師是所有教師都追求的境界卻也是很多人都望塵莫及的境界。一般來說,大部分教師經歷了經師和能師後,教學素質逐步提升,教學技能相對完善。教師也因為家庭、社會等各方面的原因而進入了職業倦怠期。有的年青教師教學了三、五年後因為結婚生孩子等家庭事務而慢慢放慢了自己職業上的追求;有的老師因為轉入了行政管理的崗位,無暇來提升自己的專業水平。所以,大部分教師發展成「能師」,就進入了自己事業發展的「高原平台期」,而無法成為「仁師」。就像辜教授在講座中所說高位教師必須具有一定的競爭能力。首先要有較強的學習力,這里的學習力不僅指教師自己要有不斷學習的習慣和能力,也指教師在教學中能培養學生的學習能力。辜教授說了學習的四個方面:本體性學習,條件性學習,實踐性學習,一般性學習。實際上,能師只有善於學習才能找到自己發展的突破點而成為大師。試問在每天繁忙的工作後又有多少人能留給自己一點讀書的時間?又有多少人能夠持之以恆地學習呢?所以,大師必不是一般人所能達到的境界,大師一定是耐得住寂寞的人,一定是能靜下心來研究的人。因此,仁師必須要有一定的研究力,這里的研究也不再是對教學實踐中一些現象表面的研究,而是能透過現象看本質,從實踐上升到理論,再用理論來指導自己的實踐,並逐步形成自己的特色,這就是創新力,沒有創新,永遠都只是在實踐別人的成果。很多特級教師之所以是特級,是大師,是因為他們在自己的學術領域有了特色,有了創新,真正達到了「神動」的境界。就像我每次聽沈峰老師的課都感觸頗深,特別佩服沈老師在課堂上的深入淺出,收放自如,和學生心靈默契的和諧感覺。沈老師每一次的課之所以打動我們是因為她的課總是走在一線教師思想的前列,不斷地有著創新,這就是大師的魅力吧。
總之,這次的講座讓我學到了很多知識,也讓我明白了,作為一名新時期的小學英語教師,我們不應該滿足於做一名經師或能師,而應該努力去成為一名仁師。英語骨幹教師研修班正體現了組織對我們的特殊關懷和殷切希望,我們更應該找准自己發展的差異,沖擊新的高點。

我是英語專業的,不過只有在一些英語培訓機構(像夏令營之類)當過英語老師,一點感想不知道能不能幫上忙。
給小學生講課比給中學生上課相對簡單一些,因為孩子們很願意跟你互動,一般不會造成課堂氣氛沉悶的問題,但是要把課真正上的孩子愛聽又能學到知識還是有一定難度的。
首先,給小學生上課因為課容量比較小,所以盡可以充分運用視覺和聽覺的雙重刺激,但是要注意結合孩子們的興趣,比如講「lazy」這個此可以從大家喜歡的懶羊羊講起,再插入一些懶羊羊的圖片或者是一首帶flash動畫的英文歌比如「Lazy Mary」,總之吸引他們眼球是第一位的。
其次是上課時候的肢體動作很重要,不能太僵硬,表情要生動,給孩子一種親切感。
再次,把握上課的節奏。注意觀察他們的狀態,如果上了30分鍾了,感覺孩子累了,精神開始不集中了,可以暫時把節奏放慢一些,給彼此一個調整狀態的時間,可以利用這段時間讓還在吧剛教的單詞或句子在本上寫幾遍,既能讓孩子加深印象又能讓大家稍做休息。
最後,最能活躍氣氛產生良好效果的就是和孩子一定要時時互動,課前多准備一些有意思的活動,上課的時候確保孩子是整節課的主體,盡量多的給孩子參與的機會。
其實,一個老師一個風格,你完全可以按照自己的方式贏得他們的喜歡。打心眼裡喜歡孩子,有愛心,從孩子的角度出發我們可以做的還有很多。
