為什麼大蒜會讓我們的呼吸發臭?至少從5000年前開始,人們就熱衷於吃大蒜。它的辛辣,微辣的味道注入咖喱,糕點,炒薯條,甚至偶爾的甜點。但這些美味的菜餚可能伴隨著餘震:有時令人討厭的蒜味,在餘震後持續數小時。那麼,為什麼人們喜歡大蒜的味道,卻討厭由此產生的大蒜味呢?」俄亥俄州立大學食品科學與技術系主任、教授謝麗爾·巴林格(Sheryl Barringer)說,
