B. 告訴我tell的用法有哪些

原文：You are telling me.

譯文：你正在告訴我。

辨析：英語原文是個普通句子，口語中常用，但譯文意思不清楚，中國人不這樣說話。這句話的意思是：我早就知道，不用你告訴我。/ 這還用你說嗎？

英語有許多習慣用法，尤其是口語，有些話看似簡單，但照字面譯往往令人茫然不解，以tell為例可舉許多例子，表現的含義和語氣各不相同：

1. Tell me another.

我不信這件事。(不是「告訴我另一件」)

2. I'm telling you.

注意聽我說(這是很重要的)。(譯成「我在告訴你」毫無意義。)

3. Don't tell me you don't know.

你還能不知道？我不信你會不知道。(不是「不要告訴我你不知道」。)

4. Tell me, it was a misunderstanding.

這肯定是一場誤會吧？(表示說話人不相信某事的心情，但願這是場誤會。)

5. You tell me, you love me.

你許願你愛我。(如將tell譯成「告訴」，意思會很滑稽。)

6. Don't let him tell you that.

千萬別信他。

7. He couldn't tell himself why he had kept up all the photos.

他自己也解釋不清楚為什麼一直保存著這些照片。(這里譯成「告訴自己」講不通。)

顯然這件事情已發生過或將要發生,但不需要被通知者去完成；如She tells me a thing that...=She tells a thing to me.而tell sb to do sth 意為「告訴某人去做某事」,即事情需要被通知者完成~如：She tells me to do this job~

F. tell的用法是什麼

1、tell可用作不及物動詞，也可用作及物動詞。用作及物動詞時，接名詞、代詞、帶疑問詞的動詞不定式或wh-從句作賓語。

2、也可接雙賓語，其直接賓語可以是名詞或代詞，也可以是帶疑問詞的動詞不定式或that/wh-從句，其間接賓語可以轉化為介詞to的賓語。

3、tell可用於被動結構。

4、tell作「吩咐」解時，還可接以動詞不定式充當補足語的復合賓語。

tell，say，speak，talk這組詞的共同含義是「說，告訴」。其區別是：

1、say指「說出」，著重指說出具體的內容，一般用作及物動詞，後面的賓語是所說的話；

2、speak指「說話，發言」，著重開口說話的動作，一般用作不及物動詞，其賓語通常是表示某種語言名稱的詞；

3、talk指「講話，談論」，意思與speak相近，在一些情況下可以通用，通常talk用作不及物動詞；

say，talk，tell，utter這些動詞均有「說、講」之意。

1、say最普通常用詞，指用語言表達思想，著重所說的內容。

2、talk普通用詞，側重指與人交談時的連續說話，可指單方面較長談話，和speak一樣，著重說活動作而不側重內容。

3、tell指告訴或講述。

4、utter著重說話的行為，常指聲音的使用，突出用噪子發聲。

4. 知道；看出；認出

   She might have been lying. Benjy couldn』t tell. 也許她是在撒謊，本吉也說不清楚。

   You could tell a mile off that he was lying. 一看就知道他是在撒謊。

5. .識別，辨別，分辨

   How can you tell a fake Vuitton handbag from the real thing? 你怎麼辨別路易威登手袋的真假？

6. .提醒自己某事，告訴自己某事
