be here sharing my lesson with you.Now I』ll talk about how I review Unit 3 in Go For It for the students of Grade Eight. I』ll say it in four parts.
PartⅠ. Analysis of the Teaching Material
1. Status and Function
The topic of this unit is to talk about vacation plans with 「be+doing」which is close to Ss』daily life.And it』s also an interesting topic for Ss.All the activities in this lesson are designed to help Ss consolidate the language points in this unit.
2. Analysis of the students
The students have learnt English for a few years. They show great interest in English, but some of them are still afraid to speak English. For this unit, most students can use the garget language fluently meanwhile part of them have difficulties in words and sentence patterns,so they need more speaking and writing practice.
3. Teaching Aims and Demands
(1) Knowledge Object
Review the key vocabulary about vacation plans and what/ how questions .
Key vocabulary: going camping, visiting grandmother, spending time with friends, babysitting, relaxing at home, going bike riding, renting vedios, taking walks, relaxing, Italy,countryside,Europe
Target language:
What are you you doing there ? I am going sightseeing.
What』s the weather like there? It』s always warm and sunny.
I hope you』ll have a good time.
(2) Ability Object
To train the students』 ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
To train students』 ability of making future plans.
(3) Moral Object
Live a rich and colorful life.
Making a good vacation plan can make your trip happy.
Love the nature and keep everything clean.
4. Teaching Important and difficult points
To master the key vocaburary.
To train the students how to write the vacation plans with the target language.
To make a tourism schele.
To make sure the students know 「be+doing」means something is happening and it can be used to talk about the future activities as well.

Step 1.Warming up
Play a song 「Let』s have a trip」.Ss try to learn the song and sing along.
To begin with music can attract the students』 attention and create a relaxing atmosphere in which Ss can study happily.
Step 2.A guessing game
The class is divided into several groups to have a competition. The group which guess the most activities is the winner. Then let the students read aloud the key vocaburaly and remember in mind. The competition can raise Ss』 learning interest.By playing the game,Ss review the key vocabulay effiently.
Step 3.Pairwork
Ss at this age are more interested in famous singers or stars.So I design the next activity: Ss work in pairs to ask and answer questions about Liu Yifei』s vacation plans according to the information shown on the screen. Give praise to the pairs who act out the conversation correctly and quickly.This activity gives students speaking practice in using the key sentences in this unit.
Step 4.Making a tourism schele
Tell Ss to complete the tourism schele ,which lays a solid foundation for the next groupwork.

Ask Ss to do the exercise on the paper to make sure they have mastered the key language points.
Step 7.Homework
Tell Ss to send an e-mail about the tourism schele to the pen pal who is coming to Yueyang for vacation
