英語教材對聽說讀的交際功能訓練要求比較具體明確，容易引起教師的重視。相比之下，對寫的能力訓練要求則比較簡單而且籠統。 初二起始，我根據大部分學生口頭表達能力較好而書面表達能力較差的特點，採取了分階段、分層次訓練學生用英語寫日記來提高他們書面表達能力。 通過一年的努力，不僅全班的英語寫作能力普遍有了很大的進步，而且也促進了英語成績的全面提高。 班級的英語成績常保持在年級第一名。

It doesn』t matter that the air-conditioner has been broken. But my notebook-computer also was broken. I really don』t know what to do. So I went to play basketball. I didn』t know any one in that place. And I was the first time to go there to play basketball. At first, there was no person playing basketball. So I played basketball alone. I have lost two computers, but I had another one. I bought it about five years ago. It can be called curio. Though it was old. But it can still work. Although it works slowly, I was pleased. I can go on internet again. Chatting with my friends is a good relaxing. In the internet, one of my old friends invited me to tomorrow』s party. He told me that some friends would go, too. 學生英語書面表達能力的提高，絕非一朝一夕能夠達到的。 現將我的做法總結如下：
一、因人施教，規范要求
初二大部分學生沒有養成寫日記的習慣。 用英語寫日記，對他們來說，更是個新鮮事。 萬事開頭難。 首先，學生有畏難情緒，擔心增加學習負擔。 針對學生學習基礎知識和接受能力的個別差異，我不是要求全體學生一轟而上，而是在各班裡挑選6-8名對英語感興趣而學習成績又好的學生作為日記寫作的示範生，通過對這些學生的超前輔導，強化訓練，以點帶面逐步擴展，有目的、有計劃地推動全班日記寫作的廣泛開展。教師把自己的目的和意圖告訴學生，使他們明確目的，初步掌握用英語寫日記的基本方法，鼓勵他們樹立信心，堅持寫作，每天都得寫，不管是多還是少，並拿出日記範文，讓他們閱讀，總結英語日記的格式、正文內容及注意點。
二、及時講評，互相交流
定時收日記，認真批改。 每本日記都要寫上評語(優點、不足之處、注意點)，教師的評語要以鼓勵性的語言為主，以表揚學生的寫作精神。
教師應及時掌握學生的心理動態，保持學生注意，激發學生的創作熱情。 剛寫日記時，學生熱情高漲，話題也多，但寫了一段時間後就會覺得越來越沒東西可寫。 因此每周都要召開一次日記寫作交流會，學生都把自己的日記本帶來，互相傳閱，比較分析，然後談體會，達到開拓視野、取長補短的目的。 通過交流會，及時點評，解答疑難，使學生重新樹立信心，創寫更好的佳作。
三、提高寫作水平的三個階段
針對初中學生英語剛起步的特點，用英語寫日記不可能一步到位，而是要遵循由淺入深、由易到難、循序漸進的規律。 我把日記寫作分為三個階段。
(一)初級階段——多做模仿性寫作。
這一階段主要訓練學生以課本文章為主要內容的日記寫作，即把課本文章當成練習寫作的參照物，讓學生有文可依，這樣會減少學生的畏難情緒，增加他們成功的信心。 學生通過課本的學習，可以同步對課文進行仿寫、改寫、縮寫、擴寫等等，使學生強化記憶課文中的詞語和句型，達到提高書面表達能力的目的。
例如，Lesson 11 Book Ⅱ是一篇介紹中秋佳節的短文，一位學生仿寫如下：

這兩篇習作簡單明了，描述完整，學生易於接受，達到了初步練習寫的目的。
(二)中級階段——轉入獨立性寫作
在經過了第一階段的模仿性寫作後，學生對日記寫作有了一定的理性認識與實踐體會，這時我就向學生提出要擴充詞數、增加內容和寫作素材，讓學生的習作更貼近生活實際，寫他們身邊最感興趣的人和事物，提高他們寫作的獨立性。
一位學生根據自己上學路上所遇到的事情，寫了下面這篇日記：

This morning on my way to school I met a very old woman at the bus stop. I looked at her for many minutes. She looked sad. When the bus came, we all ran to the bus. 「It's my pleasure, Granny. I'm very glad to help you!」
這篇習作情節生動，語言自然，條理清楚，助人為樂的思想品德活現於寫作之中。
(三)提高階段——增強創造性寫作
這一階段要求學生把所學的英語知識與生活實際結合起來，並有效地融匯於英語寫作當中。
這個階段要放寬學生寫作時間，由原來的一天一篇改為二、三天一篇，但要求上交的日記質量高、詞數夠、內容豐富、主題鮮明、情節生動、語法正確。
在陽光燦爛的5月，我組織了全班學生參加一次郊遊活動。 一位學生以他的親身感受寫了這篇愉快的郊遊日記。

Today I went outing with my classmates and teachers. It was a fine day. In the morning I got up very early and got everything ready for the outing. We went to Jishan by bus.
It was very early when we reached Jishan. So we began to climb Mountain Beilin.The mountain was quite high. I felt tired when I climbed to the top of the mountain.
At noon we found a place near the river for a picnic. We made a fire to cook lunch, then we started to roast the pork. We all ate a lot and felt very full. In the end we took a photo near the river.

四、總結提高，全班推廣
經過一學期的訓練，日記小組的成員已養成了每天寫英文日記的習慣。 他們從不會寫、怕寫到會寫、愛寫，並且能夠寫好了。 他們的明顯進步激發了班上許多其他學生寫作日記的願望。 學生們一個個躍躍欲試，全班參與日記寫作的時機已經成熟。 教師此時因勢利導，在班上提出人人參加日記寫作小組的要求，並決定由原來的日記寫作小組成員擔任組長，日記先由組長批改後再交給教師審批。 在初二下學期，全班舉行日記寫作比賽，評出優秀日記張貼表揚，極大地鼓舞了全班學生學習英語的積極性和主動性。
日記寫作不僅提高了學生的書面表達能力，而且培養了學生學習英語、運用英語的興趣，促進了聽、說、讀、寫能力的全面發展。

寫英語日記最重要的就是要正確書寫日記的格式，尤其是在考試中，日記的格式相當重要。英語日記的格式與漢語日記的格式大致相同，在每篇日記的第一行寫上日期、星期和天氣，接下來寫內容。日期、星期和天氣的書寫要注意以下幾個方面：
1. 年、月、日都寫時，通常以月、日、年為順序，月份可以縮寫，日和年用逗號隔開。例如：December 18, 2003或者Dec. 18, 2003。
2. 如果要寫星期，星期要緊挨日期，它既可以放在日期前面，也可以放在日期後面，星期也可以省略不寫。星期和日期之間不用標點，但要空一格，星期也可縮寫。例如：Thursday Dec. 18, 2003或Dec.18，2003 Thursday
3. 天氣情況必不可少。天氣一般用一個形容詞如:Sunny, Fine, Rainy, Snowy等表示。天氣通常位於日記的右上角。

1．寫英語日記與英語學習的關系
人們常說：要真正學好英語，就要培養用英語思想的能力。但是，要做到這一點是不容易的。有一個簡單易行的辦法可以幫助我們練慣用英語思想，那就是用英語寫日記。日記是十分自由的文體，不像作文，必須有正式的主題，講究文體。日記是思想，是感情，是內心的一切。有朋友來你家作客，你可以寫：We had a wonderful time together． 春節快到了，你或許可以這樣寫：The Spring Festival is around the corner. 2．寫好英語日記的要點
1)養成積累詞語的習慣
從某種意義上說，寫英語日記又是最難的寫作，因為它包羅萬象，涉及到生活的各個方面，對詞彙的要求特別高。因此，在日常學習中，必須做一個「有心人」，准備一本筆記本，對一些英語的習慣表達法及時記錄下來，以便在以後記日記的時候可以使用。在開始記日記時，碰到一兩個英語詞彙不會寫，不妨用漢語先寫上，以後學會了英語表達，再補上去。千萬不要因為一兩個詞寫不出，就沒了記英語日記的興趣，以至放棄用英語記日記。只要你注意積累，一定會發覺自己英語日記中夾雜的漢語會越來越少，最後變為全部地道的英語日記。
2)英語日記的寫作格式
日記的第一行，要寫明年、月、日與星期，然後要寫明當天的氣候狀況，如果是游記，還要寫明地點。這一部分中天氣狀況比較難寫。下面是一些常用的描寫天氣的英語詞語：

日記正文可以是敘事、描述、說明、議論等各種形式。其實，由於日記是非常隨便的，因此上述文體常常結合在一起使用。日記內容取自生活，可長可短，有時無事可記，一兩句也可以。切忌今天記，明天不記，三天打魚，兩天曬網，破壞了記日記的情趣。另外，日記也應該盡可能講究一些文采，切忌寫成流水賬。
3)英語日記中的縮寫與省略
英語日記中的第一行的月份與星期通常都是縮寫的：

另外，英語日記中由於頻繁出現I，因此，常常省略，如：In the evening went with Xiao Li to the cinema. Finishing exercises, went to play tennis. 但如果省去I，會造成語義不清時，則不可省去：
My sister is good at English, but I am just so-so.
實際上，省與不省I，只是作者的一種習慣，為了記日記的方便。
最後需要一提的是，英語日記習慣一年一本，因此日期不必寫年份，而只是在每年一本的日記本封面上或者在日記的第一頁和最後一頁加以註明即可。

Farmers have built factories, shops and schools in many villages. Between ten and twelve we visited ten families. Many farmers who grew vegetables and raised silkworms became rich. Some families have bought color TV. Their life is much better than before. It』s said that some American friends would come to visit their village, too. My holiday life will be busy but interesting.
