我上初中的时候，英语成绩始终不理想，那时候100分满分，我通常是六七十分。母亲在我初中的最后一年帮我请到了当地比较有名气的一位老师帮我补习。我很不耐烦，因为实在看不出那位老师有什么过人之处，每次只是出一些试题让我做，然后再讲解，让我把生词和做错的题目记住，我就把错的题目都抄写在笔记本上了。日子一天一天过去，在期末考试前的一次英语测试，我的成绩是93分，我以为是题目简单,别人应该分数更高,结果我的成绩是最好的。我很兴奋，从那一次开始，我的英语成绩始终是全班第一。

后来我总结了一下，那位给我补课老师真的不见得比我的任课老师水平高，他只是让我比其他同学多做了很多试题，使我的词汇量和阅读量增加了，语感提高了,成绩自然提高。所谓语感，举个例子说，一句话去掉几个词让你填空，你不需要看选项就能填上，而且每次都能填正确，但是不一定知道为什么这样填，就象我们还没上学的时候就会说话一样,这需要通过大量的阅读才能达到。提醒一下，不需要去看英文报纸，杂志之类的，那会让人失去信心，做题本身就是阅读。

此后上了高中，大学，虽然没有老师补习了，我始终保持着这个学习方法。但是，盲目的多做题也是不行的，要保证把做错的地方弄明白，下次不错，把没见过的生词背下来，下次认得。

关于听力，我没有什么经验，但是有一点是肯定的，没有语言基础想提高听力和口语水平都是很困难的。另外我想说的是，在自己水平还不是很高的时候千万别去听什么CCTV-9之类的，那只会让自己失去信心。我现在学了十几年英语，还是听不懂CCTV-9。

关于口语，我也正在学习。去年六月份，我跳到一家瑞士公司，起初见了老外一句英语也说不出，急的满头大汗.后来同事告诉我不用在乎发音、语法、时态等等，先说出来，老外听不懂再说。我就是这样硬着头皮跟老外交流，经过半年锻炼，现在除了工作交流以外,还可以跟老外闲聊和开开玩笑了。
