魔方是由多个旋转面组成的，每个旋转面都是以一个中心点来转的，与中心点垂直就是所谓的轴。所有的轴又相交于一点称核心，也就是魔方的内核块了。我觉得按结构分类更科学一点，因为它们的结构相似，解法相通。
三、另外按旋转过程中有些魔方的形状会不断变化，由些可分为两类：
1、传统类：是指旋转过程中魔方的外观形状保持不变，如常见的二阶、三阶、四阶等六面体魔方。
2、形变类：旋转过程中魔方的形状会不断变化，如常见的SQ1魔方、二阶金字塔魔方、二阶卡通魔方等。
