We have a fantastic location here in Intercontinental, we are right in the heart of London, next to two royal parks: Hyde Park and Green Park. And we also overlook Buckingham Palace. So we're really convenient about our position.

I use the expression "warm contemporary" to describe the hotel design: we've brought it in InterContinental's brand positioning which is in the nose, so we went with British architects for the whole project, and gave them quite a tight brief, in terms of the look and feel of the hotel, and some of the details.

The London suite, which is one of our four signature suites, and the London suite is very contemporary in feel. It's like a London loft-style apartment. Its open looks Buckingham Palace and Green Park. And it's quite neutral tones that we bring life to London in that suite.

We also have a more traditional suite called Wellington suite. This suite overlooks No 1, London, the home of the Duke of Wellington. And Wellington is quite important to us as he opened the hotel--the current Duke--in 1975, and he also reopened the hotel this year in 2007.

Spas are very important trend right now in contemporary luxury, and we've introced over 300 square meters of spa space into our hotel, running in association with British lifestyle brand Elemis.

It has a very warm and homey feel, a lot of dark woods and black glass, and lots of color therapy within the treatment rooms. And it's a unisex environment so it lacks the sort of fluffing you will receive in a girlish style.

Well, the VIP suite offers an exclusive view of your attached extreme relaxation area and couple's suite as well. It's very good for special occasions where you can bring you loved ones or your friends, and you can make it your day and do a full (???) and dinner, from the Theo Randall restaurant.

And we've been voted by the columnist travelers as the best hotel in the world for food right now, which is very exciting in our first year.
