一直从事高年级毕业班英语教学,此前更早是在中学教学,一步步接触更低年级,我一直在不断的适应与探索中成长。这一学期我带三年级,通过一段时间的实践,我本人对小学低年级英语教学有了较深的感触,为此,我汇报一下一段时间来的个人体会。
“投之以李,报之以桃”。教师真诚地尊重每一位学生,善待每一位学生,是搞好英语教学的前提,只有使每一位学生都从教师身上感受到老师关注的目光,循循善诱的教学理念,学生才会尊重教师,热爱学生,从而更积极地投身到英语学习中。有人说,教师的脸是晴雨表,学生是显示器,教师的情绪是学生思维的闸门。因此,教师要善于运用自己的表情去调节、影响学生的情感。教师的每一个微笑,都是一个爱的音符。课前一句“How are you, boys and girls?”的亲切问候,让学生们看到了一个和蔼可亲、平易近人的老师,学生还能不喜欢上你的课吗?
学生动手动脑的过程,既是他们的活动欲得到满足的过程,也是他们对知识进行探索、理解、应用和发展的过程。在这过程中,学生获得心理满足感和成功感,而成功的体验和满足感,能激起学生更强烈的求知欲。因此在教学中,想方设法组织各种实践活动,引导学生进行实践,尊重学生的实践过程,给学生实践的自由是搞好英语教学的又一重要条件。
人类学习语言的能力是因人而异的。有差异是正常的,要教好每一位学生,但不能要求每一位学生都一个样,一个模式,这要求老师打破传统教学“一刀切”“齐步走”的做法。善于发现学生的闪光点,并给予鼓励,使每一位学生都能在课堂上感受到成功的喜悦,从而成为学习过程中自觉的参与者。班上有位学生成绩滞后,但他发言积极,十分喜欢角色表演,我就夸奖他的表演才能,并常常用“Good!”“Great!”等激励性的言语来表扬他。此后,他的表演欲望就更加强烈,口语能力也得到了很大的提高。
低年级的英语教学主要以培养孩子们对英语的兴趣为主展开,主要让孩子们在轻松的课堂环境下感受简单的英语,并尝试着用简单的英语口语进行日常的交流。 在教学中,为学生创设情景,例如借助图片、玩具等引出教学内容,根据学生们的生活体验,如喜欢什么食物、喜欢什么颜色等引发孩子们的学习兴趣,从听听说说、读读认认、唱唱玩玩中培养学生的兴趣和能力。 另一方面,利用形式多样的竞赛和游戏激发情景。游戏也迎合小学生爱玩的天性,寓教于乐;竞赛则永远是一剂课堂的兴奋剂,培养他们合作协调能力和适者生存、优胜劣汰的意识。如本学期针对英语学习的四项基本技能:听、说、读、写。我推出了人人争做小明星的竞赛项目,具体有:朗读小明星—培养他们正确的语音语调;词汇无敌星—积累丰富的词汇量;多才多艺星—训练他们创造英语的积极性和团队合作的能力;诗歌天王星—培养他们学英语、说英语的兴趣。他们通过自己的努力,在单项竞赛中这些学生心里充满成就感,更自信,也就更喜欢英语了。
通过这一段时间的教育教学实践,我感觉到作为一名优秀的低年级英语教师应该做到:
1.尊重每个学生,积极鼓励他们在学习中的尝试,保护他们的自尊心和积极性.
2.把英语教学与情感教育有机结合起来,创设各种合作学习的活动,促使学生互相学习、互相帮助,体验集体荣誉感和成就感,发展合作精神。
3.特别关注性格内向或学习有困难的学生,尽可能多地为他们创设语言实践的机会。
4.建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道,经常和学生一起反思学习过程和学习效果,互相鼓励和帮助,做到教学相长。
因此,我想在今后的教育教学中,努力朝着尊重学生的情感、实践、体会、兴趣,注意运用生动、活泼、有趣的教学方法,采用形象多变、丰富的教学形式,营造热气腾腾、轻松愉快的学习气氛的目标而不断努力。充分发挥学生学习英语的主观能动性,挖掘学生的学习潜力,促使学生学好英语。
