六年级英语复习需注意的几点

今天,我们一起来研讨有关毕业班复习的问题。复习,是学习过程中一个非常重要的环节。尤其是六年级的总复习,更加要体现出它的重要性。如果教师能合理安排复习计划,精心组织复习内容,那就能起到事半功倍的效果。经过复习,每个学生都会在原有基础上得到不同程度的提高。我觉得要提高复习效率,应关注以下几个问题:
一、不要把复习课仅作为练习课。

在以往的毕业班复习时我们发现:有些老师把复习课简单当作练习课来上,今天问这个学校要张练习卷,明天从那个学校拿张练习卷,每天都是枯燥的抄写、背读、做题、讲题。这样的做法不但让学生感到疲倦乏味,而且没有注重学生能力的培养。
二、复习要有系统性、针对性。

这一届六年级学生是从三年级开始学英语的,而且是第一次使用牛津英语教材。大家在教学中也都感觉这套教材容量较大、而且知识的复现率不是很高。因此,在总复习阶段,我们有必要带领学生把所学过的内容系统梳理一遍。在此基础上,再根据知识点进行归类复习。对学生容易混淆的知识,在讲解规则、方法的基础上,可以出一些针对性的练习,让学生在运用中巩固知识点。
三、复习课在重基础的同时更应注重能力的培养。

有些英语老师在复习过程中往往会让学生做大量的翻译词组、默写单词等练习,也许通过这样的训练,学生对单词的熟练程度是增加了。但我们应该明确:我们教学生学英语的目的不是为了让他们机械地记忆一些单词,更重要的是要培养学生的语言运用能力。对语言的灵活运用能力需要通过听说读写的途径来培养,因此在上复习课时,我们仍要像上新授课时一样通过多种教学手段让学生得到听说读写多方面的训练,而且由于是复习课,我们的组织更应该体现出综合性。对于记忆单词,不要有过高的要求,要让学生有更多的机会感知英语,激活他们的思维,给他们创造更多运用语言的机会。如:我们在复习阶段可以通过大量阅读来扩展学生的知识,培养他们的语感。阅读材料的来源可以充分发挥学生的作用,因为他们手头的各种英语学习资料比较多,可以布置学生在家准备阅读的文章,每节课上由两位同学来给大家读,并准备好相关的问题。这样,既培养了学生的理解能力,又锻炼了他们的听说能力。
四、在复习阶段应更加关注弱势群体。

在日常教学中,每个班总有几名学生在英语学习方面比较薄弱。这些学生中有个别可能是由于智力因素,更多的是学习态度问题。在复习阶段,如果老师能充满爱心地对待这些学习英语有困难的学生,激发他们的学习积极性,及时地帮助他们解决一些学习上的困难,不断鼓励他们,相信他们能积极主动地参与英语复习,通过复习补缺补漏,在最后阶段取得较大进步,从而顺利进入中学学习。在座的很多老师都有教毕业班的经历,对于这一点肯定很有感受。希望通过我们的努力,能让更多学生树立起学习的信心,使他们充满希望地迎接更多的挑战。当然,由于英语老师所教班级比较多,精力有限,而且我们也不希望通过加班加点的方式来提高学生的成绩。所以,在老师关注弱势群体的同时,我们更提倡同学间的互帮互助。因为每个班级都有一些英语学得很轻松的学生,如果能把这个资源有效地利用起来,那老师的负担相对就会减轻些,而且能培养学生间的团结合作精神。
最后谈谈学生的心理和情绪调适问题。我认为情绪对学生的学习会有很大影响,积极愉快的情绪可以活跃思维,增强记忆力,反之则会抑制思维。在复习迎考阶段,有些学生此时的心理会变得特别敏感和脆弱,会表现出或紧张或烦躁或消极或兴奋的状态,若不注意引导,不去理解和体会学生的心理感受,会使学生有强烈的被遗弃感和不被理解的郁闷感,近则会影响其成绩,远则甚至会影响其今后学习英语的兴趣和积极性。因此如何细微地观察和科学地调整学生的心理情绪状态尤为重要,不敢说比如何复习更重要,但确实是进行复习的前提和保证。我不认为这仅仅是班主任的责任。所谓“亲其师信其道”,如果在这一时期能格外地走近学生,了解并理解他们,相信他们能愉快地结束小学阶段的学习,充满信心地进入中学学习。

总之,在复习期间,希望老师不要整天埋头于作业堆、练习卷中,而要有更多的时间来理清自己的思路,针对本班学生实际合理设计、安排,针对不同层次的学生也应有不同的要求。希望通过大家的努力,师生们都能感到复习阶段的学习是愉快的、充实的、有效的。

初一英语新教材分析

初一英语新教材在编排体例上突破了传统模式,体现了语言教学的整体性和完整性,每个单元的设计都围绕一个标题,让学生通过体验,实践,参与,合作,交流和操作等方式学习和使用语言,完成学习任务.教材的内容体现了时代精神.语言素材典型,语言场景真实,语言表达规范.但是我们在具体实践中总体感觉词汇要求多而高.语法与小学脱节严重,故在上学年的教学自始至终伴随着难读,难背,难懂.一个学年下来,教与学可谓苦不堪言.教师或多或少的患上咽喉炎.但是苦尽甘来我校初一英语教师通过一学年的“盯”学生,学生的朗读,记忆,背诵能力明显提高,为今后的教学打好了良好的基础.为了更好的搞好教学工作,扬长避短,现对上学年的教学工作总结如下:
1 参加暑期教研室举办的新教材培训.听取教研室领导对新教材的阐释.通过观看教学录像,整体了解了新教材的编写思路.虚心学习并探讨新教材每一单元各课时的教材教法,从思想上准备苦战.
2 搞好衔接教材的教学.我们首先把小学中的所有单词按语言归类进行全面复习和巩固.对小学教材中的重点对话和语篇要求学生重新背诵。语法及练习重点让学生了解句型及语法。突出“to be”动词的用法和练习,并适当的指出have和there be的区别和用法。让学生了解英语中的时态的概念。对“have ”“there be”“to be” 以及可数名词与不可数名词的用法做重点复习,重点练习。
3 在具体进行新教材教学中,我们始终把握基础,抓读抓背抓词汇。尽可能做到人人过关。为了做好这项工作,我们全体初一英语教师已使尽全身解数,真所谓软硬兼施,特别对一些困难生,我们更是花尽心思从各方面来驱动他们的内动力。把他们的积极性保持在旺盛状态。布置作业尽可能的注重基础与能力。要教育好他们,很重要的一点是要舍得并善于对他们进行感情的投资。既要晓之以理,又要动之以情,使之产生为你学的热情。但在教学实践中光有这种“猴”劲还不够,还要有一定的“盯”劲。真正做到“心中有他们”“课上叫他们”“课后盯他们”。
对于具体的单元教学,我们几位教师长期的进行热烈的探讨研究,大家坦诚布公,各抒己见。最后编定一致的教学思路。低起点,重基础,抓背读,精练习。对于电脑班与普通班已进行了分层教学,要求不同。普通班更注重基础,重点抓读背词汇,做到反复的背,反复的默写。而电脑班在读背的基础上,加强阅读,听力,写作的训练。本学期我们要求阅读完一本简易的中英对照原版故事书。平时我们搞一些协作,新闻采编的小竞赛,学生的积极性及其高涨,成绩显著提高。
