Secondly, reading can enrich our knowledge. By reading, we can know different kinds of things, how things happen and how to avoid bad things from happening. Books record a wide range of things about life. Through reading, we can know various aspects of life.
第二，读书能让我们丰富我们的知识。通过读书，我们能了解很多事物，了解到事件是怎么发生的，怎么避免不利事件的发生。书本记录着社会的方方面面。通过读书，我们能了解生活的方方面面的知识。
Thirdly, reading teaches us skills. There are so many books about how to learn a certain language, how to get a good job, how to become popular in your circle, how to cook and so on. Thus, these kinds of books can make us more skillful if we do a certain thing.
第三，我们能通过读书来学习一些技能。很多书都是写关于怎么学会一门语言，怎么找到一份好工作，怎么让自己在圈子中更受欢迎以及怎么烹饪等之类的东西。通过这些书，我们能在做事的时候更加熟练。
All in all, we can find lots of benefits through reading.

美国大片、日剧韩流、欧洲标准在今天的中国大行其道，越来越多的国人在眼花缭乱的外国文化的侵袭下倒下了，他们被蒙蔽了双眼，失去了思考能力，成为了外国文化的俘虏，成为了它们的忠实鼓吹者，这不得不说是国人的悲哀，也是中国政府对外来文化侵略的抵抗手段不足的体现。
好莱坞大片是文化侵略武器的典范
好莱坞大片确实是一个“梦工厂”，经由它打造的影片几乎都可以风靡世界，在全世界赚足了票房的同时，还作为“美国思维”的输出工具不断的为全世界树立“美国形象”，美式英雄、美式思维、美式行为方式，在不经意间被刻入了全世界人民的脑海，“只有美国人是英雄，只有美国做的事情是正确的”就像一个咒语暗藏在好莱坞大片里不断的在全世界范围内传播，于是在全世界范围内出现了大量崇拜美国的人，他们不一定了解什么是民主，也不一定知道美国到底好在哪里，更没有思考过应不应该崇拜美国，反正在他们看来，美国就是最民主，最富有，最正义的理想国度。当然在中国也有大批的美国“粉丝”，美国吸引他们的地方不是美国的历史，也不是政治体制，更不是风土人情，因为他们根本不了解这些，他们所知道的，只有好莱坞大片传达的美国精神和美式思维方式。
曾经有人问一个在中国工作的美国人：“怎么在全世界树立中国人的高大形象？”，回答是：“组建一个类似好莱坞的‘梦工厂’，拍一些卖座的影片，中国人的形象马上就高大起来了。”由此可见，诸如“好莱坞大片”之类的东西实在是“居家旅行，文化洗脑，必备良‘药’”
外语门槛是文化侵略的助推器
大学英语4、6级已经成为今天中国学生想要就业所必须要跨过的“门槛”，对于大学英语4、6级考试是否科学暂且不谈，这个制度本身就很有问题，英语是要学的，这是世界潮流，至少在可遇见的未来，英语国家在科技等各方面还将继续领先，学习英语有助于我们学习他们的长处。但是把英语作为一个就业的门槛就很值得商榷了，即使你过了4、6级也不证明你就能够熟练应用英语，如此这般近乎疯狂的抬高英语的地位还带来了很多负面的影响，就是暗示外国的语言是好的，我们自己的汉语是低等的，学汉语背古诗是老土的行为，嘴里能拽几句英文才算酷。
从另一个方面来说，现在的学生学英语都是在没有正确引导之下的“瞎学”，他们饥不择食的阅读英文文章，听英文广播，看没有经过翻译的英文电影，甚至有些人在家里还装了“锅盖”来收看境外节目，我们知道，外国媒体针对中国的报道大多都是负面的，甚至是故意的歪曲丑化，中国学生在被迫“大跃进”式的学习英语的同时接受了大量的不良信息，在没有正确引导的情况下很容易出现对中国的错误认识，助长了崇洋媚外的思想。可以说“外语门槛”在某种程度上充当了外国对中国文化侵略的助推器。
各种名目的“洋节日”打倒了传统节日
在现今的中国可以看到一种现象，就是情人节比七夕节热闹，圣诞比春节受欢迎，各种明目的“洋节日”纷纷登陆中国，让中国人尤其是青少年青睐有加，人们一边感叹着“传统节日越来越没劲了”一边对过“洋节日”乐此不疲，真的是传统节日“落伍”了吗？不是的！其实很多国人都不知道怎样过传统节日，甚至连有些传统节日的来历都不清楚，例如“端午节是纪念谁的？”，这个问题很多人都回答不上来！
我们不禁要问，是不是社会对于传统节日的宣传太少了？
网络战争是文化战争的“暗战”
现今，网络对人们的影响正在日益加强，网络几乎已经成为了社会的一部分，而网络上的言论也多多少少能够影响人们的认知，有些对中国怀有敌意的国家（我不说大家也知道是哪个国家）大肆在网络上宣传中国的负面消息，就像他们的媒体对本国国民所做的一样，但是不同的是，在网络上，他们的言论是故意要让中国人看的，目的就是让中国人增加对祖国的不认同感，增加不满情绪，以达到他们对中国人的舆论诱导的目的。为了达到这个目的有些国家不惜花钱雇佣大量中国写手，也就是“网络特务”，在网上大肆宣传对中国不利的言论。
面对这样的网络心理战，我们的有关部门显然没有做好准备。虽然出台了相关的法律，但是都是以“禁”为主，只能治标而不能治本。所以在网络战争这方面，我们也明显处于下风。
文化战争的全面失败导致了“上海现象”的出现
上海，不说中文的城市
如果你站在中国的地盘上走进一家餐厅，迎面来了一个中国的服务生，张口就说：“GoodEvening.Tablefortwo?”你是否会错愕？是否会失去胃口？如果你拨打中国的某些开放给普通市民的热线，接通后竟然发现讲的竟然是英语，英语讲完了才是中文，你是否觉得荒谬？是否觉得两者的先后顺序应该颠倒。这就是上海！

文化战争的惨痛失利，中国你将何去何从？
中国真的已经到了最危险的境地了，这比丢失国土还要严重！国土丢失了大不了豁出去拼命夺回来，但是人的观念一旦形成就很难改变，这也是心理战在战争中被广泛应用的原因，所以我们绝对不能小视我们在文化阵地的失礼，当我们的国人被一个接一个的洗脑后，我们的国家就将失去未来！
所幸的是我们国家领导人已经意识到了问题的严重性，也做了相关的调控措施，例如加大对文艺作品的投入，还有对网络进行管制等等，但是力度还是不够，本人建议应该对我所说的上述问题加以解决：
1，更多的推出如《亮剑》、《汉武大帝》等脍炙人口的影视作品，把国人的注意力吸引到带有主旋律和中国特点的方向上来
2，降低英语的地位，提高汉语的地位，将语文教育或者文学鉴赏作为所有大学所有专业的必修科目，提高学生的文化修养
3，加大对传统文化的宣传力度
4，网络不能仅仅以单一的管制手段为主，政府应该组织相应的评论员，写手对境内外的不法分子的言论进行反击，以正视听（可以参考前一阵的“国奥打架事件”，这是经典的支持国奥方的反败为胜网络论战）
文化战争，中国中国已经到了再也输不起的地步了，我们不能再迟疑了，必须强力反击！
