Today i took the bus to the park. Some people were waiting for the bus at the bus stop.When a young girl came,she spat a gum on the ground While she was waiting,she herself stepped on the gum.The gum stuck to one of her foot.When the bus came , she got on the bus. Then she discovered the gum stuck her foot all the time.

apples bananas and a big watermelon.I"m buying some new books ,because I like reading interesting books very much.Then we get home.I"m very happy!

Today I began to learn “Li Yang” English. At first I was very afraid because my English is not very well. But after ten minutes, I was not afraid it, the lesson is not as hard as I think. Instead, it is so easy that I can remember twenty sentences in fifteen minutes. After it .My mother ask me some English questions, I can answer it quickly except two of them. Now I am writing my first “English dairy”. I hope I can write it everyday. Why not write it with me, classmates?

Today I have to do much housework. First wash the clothes , then cook the meal、tidy the room。In the afternoon, I met a friend named dengyuming. We played computer game all the afternoon.
When all the things have been finished, I only want to go to sleep because it is ten now. But when I began to sleep, I remembered that the computer wasn’t close. So I could only stand up and close it. Then I was fall asleep. Now, I hope everything goes well!

“Why we must study all the day? We can only have free time when we have lunch and super. Sometimes I nearly have no time to go to sleep. In our life, there is only work. Nothing else.” Today I read the passage, I can only say:“that’s too bad”. Is it?
I think we should work for everybody, not ourselves. If we work for ourselves, we cannot work for long and good. For example: maozedong, zhouenlai and so on. I wish we could work as them.

Today I go to shopping with my friend. When we are walking in the street, a girl comes to us, and says to us: Could you help me? We feel amazed. Then the girl tells us she was walking with her mother just before, but she does not know where is her mother now. She looks like very anxious, and wears tear in her eyes. So we believe she at last. Besides, we lend her ten yuan to take a tax to home. We feel so good, because we can help someone. But a unacceptable matter is happen at last. When we are ready go back home, come out from a shop, we see a girl whom we meet before are saying the same word to another people.

I didn't get up until my brother came.Because last nighr I fell asleep too late.Last night,I saw the movie-"Bank of brother",so I fell asleep at12:40. My brother came here and played with me.We plaued the computer games from 9:30 to 11:30.We were very happy.After lunch,we watched TV.Aboule 3:00,we went to play basketball to playground.From 3:30 to 5:30.OH!I am very very tired now!I wanted to have a good rest.

Yesterday I had a cold , I just lay down and rest in bed . Today is morning , his mother take he to hospital to see a doctor . The doctor look over and gave some medicine . Then I have some medicine . At night I am better than yesterday . I can do my home work .

At last,I can keep a dog.It is from my uncle.It is white with black spots.I name it Angel.I walk it for about 15 minutes after supper everyday.I give it a bath every three days.I must keep it clean,or Mother says I can't keep it.

My First Time at the English Corner
It was a beautiful Sunday. Our teacher told us that there would be an English Corner near the gate of the People’s Park. I started off soon after breakfast.
It was already 9:20 when I got there. To my joy, the English Corner had just been on for a few minutes. Oh, what a big crowd! There were professors, teachers, cadres①, engineers, workers, students and PLA men. Some were reading the SSP (Shanghai Students’s Post), some were talking while others were listening attentively②. Everyone was eager to learn from others.
I joined them in their talk. At first, I was afraid that my English was so poor and limited that I couldn’t follow them or make myself understood. I was also afraid that someone might laugh at me. But a smiling face here and an encouraging nod there soon put me at ease③. I became bolder and came to speak English with them freely.
We talked about the situation at home and abroad, about our school life, our hobbies and our ideas. We exchanged experience in our studies with one another and shared views, all in English. I learned a lot of knowledge and made a lot of friends. Through practice, we all improved our English.
The day was unforgettable. Though today we speak only in simple English, we all believe that tomorrow we will make greater progress in English.

This morning I got up early and went to the market to buy some vegetables instead my mother for the first time.
The market was very crowded and busy with nearly all kinds of goods on display. Some sellers were shouting at the top of their voice to attract the attention of the people. Nowadays more and more people have realized smoking can do harm to people'shealth. However, some people still enjoy smoking. Why? Because some of them think it is a kind of fashion, some think it is of great fun and others, think that smoking can refresh themselves.
In fact, smoking is a bad habit. It can cause a lot of diseases. Meanwhile smoking is a waste of money. Besides, careless smokers may cause dangerous fires.

With instries and business developing quickly, the number of trees in many big cities has dramatically reces. Efforts are being made to prevent people from cutting more trees. But a lot of trees are being destroyed by people who have never thought of the importance of green plants.

Making cities greener has many advantages. First, it can make our air cleaner. Some researchers have proved that trees can rece the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere through absorption. Second, it can make our cities more beautiful. With trees and flowers everywhere, living conditions can be improved. Finally, it can proce timber----an effective way to solve the problems of limited supply of natural resources.

Making our cities greener requires nationwide efforts. People in every field should not only know about the importance of keeping the quality of urban environment, but also take common action to plant more trees and flowers so as to improve our living conditions.

I make it a rule to read the newspaper every day. As a student, I have no time to watch news programs on TV. Besides, watching television takes up a lot of time. Consequently, reading the newspaper becomes the only way for me to learn about what's happening around the world.

There is an old Chinese saying: "A scholar need not leave his home to know what's going on in the world." While newspapers do not carry the latest, up-to-the minute world news, they give us a great deal of useful knowledge. Thus, reading the newspaper is, in my opinion, a must for those who wish to keep up with the times.

How can a student love his country (be patriotic)? I find my answer very simple and clear. He must study hard and store up knowledge so as to serve his (the) country in the future. If every student can do according to what I said, the country will certainly be rich and powerful.

Knowledge is one's acquaintance with facts, truth, principles, through ecation, investigation, and experience, while wisdom is the quality or state of being knowledgeable and sensible; it is one's accumulated knowledge to form the right judgment and make the right decision.

It may follow that wisdom is the output end of the knowledge acquiring process.

How to keep healthy

What is the most important thing in the world? I think it is health.You can take away our money, house, car, or even our clothes and we can survive. But if our health was taken away, we would surely die. That is why we always try to eat in a healthy way and exercise regularly.
什么是世界上最重要的事情？我想，答案应该是健康。我们可以在没有钱、房子、车子，甚至衣服的情况下，活着。但是如果我们的健康被带走了，我们肯定就活不下去了。这就是为什么我们总是努力以一种健康的方式吃东西和规律地运动。

In order to eat healthily, I usually avoid eating food high in fat, like french fries or cookies. I also eat little meat. I eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of vitamins. Taking exercise every day helps us build a strong body. Regular exercise is an important part of keeping me healthy.

Today the crime rate in cities of our country is rising. Many citizens often complain about the thefts and robberies that have taken palce in the areas they live in and appeal to the governments at all levels to take effective measures to rece the crime rate.

Faced with criminals, some people are so frightened that they shamelessly give up the fight and other people turn a blind eye to them. However, some people are brave enough, to risk their lives to fight the criminals.Their fearless actions prevented the criminals from doing evils, saved the victims, and protected the public properties.

To rece the crime rate, we all the people should receive a law ecation. Criminals must be severely punished. Meanwhile we should set up a foundation to reward those who fight criminals. It is also important to call on people to learn from those heroes and encourage more people to stand up to crime.

I have a very beautiful cat. Its colour is white and yellow. Its name is Haahua. I think it is my favourite cat.

An Accident
意外

One sunny afternoon, when I was merrily riding home, I heard "Help! Help!".

一个晴朗的午后，当我高兴地骑车回家时，我听到（有人喊）“救命！救命！”。

I rode to the riverside and found a boy of about five in the river struggling. I jumped into the water, swam to the boy and dragged him to the river bank. The boy said he was trying to catch a fish near the river bank and carelessly fell into the water. I asked him where his home was and sent him home.

Health or Wealth?

Which is more important, health or wealth? When given this question, different people have varied answers. Some insist that health plays a more important role in our life, while others see more advantages arising from wealth.

健康和财富，哪个更重要？当这个问题被提出来的时候，不同的人有不同的答案。有些人坚持认为，在我们生活中，健康扮演者更为重要的角色，然而其他人认为健康能带给我们更多利益。

The first group of people quote the old saying "Health is above wealth" to prove their idea. They argue that, on the one hand, a strong person can do almost anything as long as he/she tries hard. On the other hand, however, rich people will not be able to enjoy the wealth if their days are numbered.

In contrast, the advocate s of wealth have such arguments as follows. For one thing, wealthy people will be able to buy more healthful foods. For another, they can enjoy better facilities to improve their health. Take my neighbor, Lao Wang, as an example. He had a heart attack and is in hospital. However, he cannot afford the expensive operation , which costs as much as 100,000 yuan. Therefore, he has to lie in bed hopelessly . If he were a rich man, his life could be saved.

As far as I am concerned, both health and wealth are important to our life. We should try to strike a balance between them and gain wealth with a healthy body.

Yesterday, we had a discussion . The topic is"What is my dream?"Everyone has his dream. Some want to be teachers,others want to be scientists. My dream is to become a doctor.
