当时百万汉军团团包围了垓下，而项羽身边只有八百名壮士了，项羽感叹自己空有一身顶天立地的力气，却不能打败敌军，发出了一声“虞姬虞姬，为之奈何”的悲叹。
虞姬为了不托累夫君，希望他能够杀出重围，所以刎颈自杀。项羽与八百壮士在虞姬后，勇敢的杀出了百万大军的包围，但项羽在最后准备渡过乌江时，却选择了放弃，最终被汉军所杀。
