所有英文复能都看就都看，所有制中文能不看就不看。不妨找到原版书，按照专业看：
Grammar
Phonetics
Lexicology
Pragmatics
Stylistics
Cultural Studies
等等
才有可能成为英文专业人才。
另外，用英文英语：
看小说没用，写小说才行
看电影没用，演电影才行
中国出版的没用，美国英国等的才行
除非想学成汉式英语，中式英文，那才读什么China Daily之类的。

词汇书推荐：刘毅10000或者星火式词汇。阅读的话，选择一些经典名著，原版的，还有英文报版刊，中国日报，21世纪等权。翻译书推荐：张培基的英译中国现代散文108篇。听力：自己下载一些BBC\VOA什么的听，或者嫌麻烦就买本星火的专项吧，里面都是从VOA,BBC上面的，有原文，方便些。如果是应对专四专八考试或是英专考研的话，建议选择星火的，星火在英专领域算是国内最权威的了，我们基本上都用的是星火的，一是习惯了星火的试卷解析，很透彻，二是星火在押题这一块确实很准。
