如今想起来，整件事的顺利解决，如果说有什么重要因素，那只能是——善良。善良是人性中最基本的品格，也是人性里最为朴素的美。只有在善良的土壤里，才能开出一切更为崇高的品德之花。我们不能苛求每一个平凡的人，都用崇高的品德感天动地，但如果我们做到人人心存善良，那么这个世界就一定会更美好。
人在世上并不是孤立的，除非他过著与世隔绝的生活。既然活在人世间就须与人发生往来，因此就产生处世哲理，各个时代各个民族都因人的需要而发展出约定俗成的处世原则，这些处世原则有其世俗性的价值，但不见得就合乎真理，也不见得就合乎人性(如三从四德)，但却能在当时广为人民所接受，表示世间存有著集体的痴情，这些是世间冲突、对立及苦难的根源。
