1. 首段和尾段

一篇文章的主题句、中心思想往往出现在文章的首段或者尾段。

许多文章开门见山地在第一段就提出了要说明的对象或者要论证的观点,而文章的最后一段一般也会对全文的说明和论证进行总结。

策略:

通过一些标志性词汇或者短语,我们可以更快地找到这些总结性句子,如:

all in all, in short, to conclude, in consequence, in summary, in a word, as a result, therefore, accordingly, thus 等。

主题句考查了考生是否能够把握文章大意的能力,因此是常考且几乎是必考的一个考点。

2. 长难句

长难句是阅读理解的主要难度所在,其中包含了同位语、插入语、定语、不定式、分词、各种从句等,有的句子甚至长达好几行。这些复杂的句型也往往成为了出题的重点所在。

策略:

加强训练自己对付长难句的能力,平时有意识地去分解这些句子,理解其中的指代关系和句子层次。

中考英语阅读试题中经常考查考生对于一些词语和词汇的理解,这些卖旁特殊词汇包括了平时不经常使用的生僻词、常见词语平时不经常用到的意思或搭配、以及关系代词等。

策略:

解题关键在于读懂词汇所在文章位置的上下文,从而推断中其意思。

8. 数字和年代

最高级词汇以及其他一些表示唯一性的词汇由于其意义的绝对性,因而不容易产生歧义,所以也经常成为出题对象。

这些词语包括形容词和副词的最高级,以及以下词汇:

only, sole (solely), mere (merely), sheer, simply, entirely, absolutely, just, always, forever, never, none, must, all, any (anyone, anybody, anywhere) 等。

11.引用处

说明文或者议论文中经常引用他人的观点来支持、佐证作者的观点。引文有可能是从正面来支持作者的观点,也有可能是作者通过驳斥反面观点从而论证自己的观点。

因此,引文间接地表达了作者自己的观点,有一定的隐蔽性和迷惑性,所以也是出题考查的热点地区,通常会考查考生的推理能力和对作者态度观点的判断能力。

12.段首和段尾

无论是说明文还是议论文,一篇文章往往会分成几个部分或层次进行说明和论证,每一个段落一般都是一个部分或者层次。

英美人写文章的逻辑性非常强,文章结构都非常规范,因此每个段落的首句和尾句也经常是该段落的中心思想句,因此也是出题的重点区域,涉及的问题包括了中心思想题、推理判断题和细节题等。

下文也将会提到,在进行快速阅读的时候,考生只需要浏览文章每一段的第一句话就大致能够判断这篇文章的中心思想和主旨。

13.特殊标点符号

有一些特殊的标点符号也经常成为出题的对象,因此考生应该对以下标点符号的用法较为熟悉:冒号、括号、破折号以及引号。

逗号:两个逗号之间的内容、或者一个逗号后面的内容,通常都起到补充说明第一个逗号前面内容的作用。

一:听力

1、中国有句古话,叫“熟读唐诗三百首,不会吟诗也会作”。同样,要使自己具有较强的写作能力,首先应该熟读和背诵一些句型和短文。许多同学写出来的语言根本不符合英语的语言习惯,相当一部分人有对照中文逐字翻译的不良习惯,不去理会中英文的差异。大量的背诵和阅读是提高写作能力的有效办法,同学们若有大量的现成语言积累在脑海里,自己写起文段来,就可以做到脱口而出,或是模仿、套用,甚至发挥。

2、可以采用循序渐进、灵活多样的练习方式。从根据提示词写单句开始,到写单句,然后到写几句话,最后到写流利的文段。

3、尝试多种形式的写作,如短信、说明、通知、便条、明信片、看图写作、根据表格或记录写短文等。

4、在练习时,要充分了解所提供的情景素材,注意使用常见的连接词来表示顺序和逻辑关系,使句意表达连贯、语法正确、符合逻辑。还要注意字母的大小写和标点符号。

四:语言知识

听、说、读、写四种技能相辅相成,但是要想使这四种技能做到扎实严谨,少不了必须的英语语言知识。语言知识是英语的重要组成部分,是为听、说、读、写这四种能力服务的,是它们得以提高的有力保证。关于语言知识的学习,同学们可以尝试:

1、在现有知识的基础上,先亲自动手,对两年来教材中所要求掌握的基本语言知识先做一个系统的归纳,如时态、词类、简单句的结构以及一些常见的或重要的句型。在进行整理的过程中,切忌把语言现象作为孤立的语言来总结,必须把他们放在语境和上下文中来体会和总结。例如在总结一般过去式时,不妨把你在教材中和平时的阅读中所见到的一般过去式的句子有选择地摘录下来,然后对他们的结构、用法和变化进行比较,最后你对一般过去式的理解就不会是机械的了。

There are over 800 boarding (寄宿) schools in the UK with students from home and foreign countries. Boarding schools started hundreds of years ago in the country. But the earliest boarding schools were set up for white, rich boys only. Now both boys and girls can go to boarding schools from the age of 7 to 18.

What to do

In the UK, boarding schools have three terms in a school year, with about 13 weeks in each term. Students study and live together. They can’t go outside if they are not allowed to. In some schools, each student has his or her subject plan. Besides the usual classrooms and laboratories, the boarding schools have lots of other facilities for their students, including music rooms, boats, swimming pools, cinemas and theatres. Most boarding schools have a “light out” time. So when it’s time to go to bed, all the lights in the bedrooms are turned off. There are house-masters to take care of students all the time, especially after school hours.

What to wear

Nearly all students at boarding schools wear a school uniform. Boys usually wear a shirt and a tie, and girls wear a white blouse, sometimes also a tie and a skirt. As students get older, the rules become less strict.

He ran up to the steps. Then in a short while Paul heard him coming back, but he was not coming fast. He was carrying his little crippled (残疾的.) brother. He sat him down on the step and pointed to the car.

“There he is, Buddy, just like I told you upstairs. His brother gave it to him for Christmas and it didn’t cost him a cent. And some day I’m going to give you one just like it…then you can see for yourself all the nice things in the Christmas windows that I’ve been trying to tell you about.”

Paul got out and lifted the boy to the front seat of his car. The shining-eyed elder brother climbed in beside him and the three of them began an unforgettable holiday ride.

This had never happened before, but her mom said, “Now that you have gone I have more time to myself. I noticed that in some places mothers and children hug each other and I decided it was a good idea and that I would begin hugging you.”

In my family we all say “I love you” a lot .While it is true that we often say the words without having great depth of feelings at that moment, it is almost like a blessing we give each other. Those three little words carry a world of meaning ,even when said as a greeting, but most especially if they are the last words we say to or hear from those we love.

1.音标

相信你已经会26个字母了,那最基础的就是音标,只要懂了音标,记单词就会非常的快,甚至看一眼就能永远记住。(等于中文的拼音,学会就会自己拼单词)

2.单词

熟练音标后,就开始记单词。每天10个,一个月300个,那一年最少也有3000个了。二年下来,超过高中的词汇量了,当然要记得定期回头复习,不然会忘。背单词不只是被拼写,还要到字典找例句及用法,学习单词和音标及其例句到海词,专业提高学习;(每天10个单词不多,以前读书的时候一堂课的单词是以填鸭式的方式20多个单词)

3.词组

只掌握了单词,不知道词组含义也会很吃力,要大量积累。它是完形填空的法宝。

4.语法

也许这是最痛苦的了,你不妨从主谓宾这种简单句开始。

(一册一册的学,学习可以先从简单的来)

5.口语和听力

看看美剧,听听BBC,看美剧要边看边做一些俗语的笔记,听BBC可以听懂60%就好。据说连续8天练精听3个钟,会有明显提高。所谓精听就是把听到的内容一字不差地写下来,听不懂就一直听,实在不行,后面和听力材料对的时候,再着重看看。(多听歌多看电影美剧,这些都可以提升自己的听力和学习的兴趣)
