There are no rules to starting a walking program. You might walk short distances. Or you might walk up hills to strengthen your leg muscles. 考纲变化
2008年普通高等学校招生全国统一升唤英语考试大纲与去年的大纲相比有如下变化：1.在阅读理解考点类型方面，大纲的第6点表述为：理解作者的意图、观点和态度，与去年大纲相比增加了“观点”一词。2.在写作要求方面，07年大纲表述为：写作要求考生根据提示进行书面表达，考生应能：(1)准确使用语法和词汇；(2)使用一定的句型、词汇，清楚、连贯地表达自己的意思；08年大纲则去掉了“要求考生根据提示进行书面表达”一句。由这两处变化可以看出新大纲对学生的阅读能力提出了更高要求；写作可能会在提示上有变化，或许更倾向于开放作文，让学生有更大的自由发挥空间。
备考建议
1.听力：在进行听力训练时，要特别加强前5个小题的听力技能训练；每天至少要坚持15分钟左右的听力训练；除做听力题之外，也可以听教材录音，如可选听新概念第二、三册的部分篇目等。
2.词汇：依据课本和考纲对要求掌握的常用词汇，主要是：名词、动词、动词短语、形容词、副词、介词短语进行有针对性地复习训练。学生应人手一份考纲词汇，天天查阅，并注意结合语篇材料把握词汇运用的准确性、多样性与得体性。教师可以挑出重点词汇和词吵悉凯组对学生进行训练。还要关注新增加的240个词汇。
3.语法：对主要语法项目，如：动词的时态和语态、连系动词、情态动词、非谓语动词、三大从句、固定句型结构以及倒装应系统复习，可以将这些语法简明扼要地进行归纳，列出重点、难点以及易错点并将它们编成练习便于学生理解和掌握, 最后结合完成句子对学生进行训练。也可以把近几年高考单选题中涉及语法的题改编成完成句子让学生训练。
4.完型填空和阅读理解：应陆圆每天都有一定量的完型填空和阅读理解的训练。选择训练题时，要注意材料题材和体裁的多样性以及材料语言的地道性；还要注意训练题对阅读理解考查点的覆盖情况。学生易在主旨要义题、根据上下文推断生词词义题上出错，因此要重点训练。要注意理解文章的基本结构以及作者的意图、观点和态度。
5.书面表达：对不同文体的写作方法技巧，要进行讲解和操练，如各类书信，报道，图表作文等应用文体。
要强化学生词句表达的灵活变化和得体性，词语上要尽可能运用自己学过的并且比较熟悉的词语，句式上要尽量用一些从句和固定句型以提升文章的档次，还要注意篇章结构的合理性，过渡语和衔接词的连贯性。要有意识地积累精美词句，不同文体常用的开头、过渡和结尾的佳句；并有意识地背些经典的范文。
