要学好英语，必需掌握正确的学习方法，到语言知识所在的环境里去学，我认为可以从以下几方面入手。إ 一、要学会正确使用词典إ 在每年新生班的英语教学中，我发现大部分学生使用的都是电子词典或一些老的、过时的词典，有些学生甚至把英语四、六级词汇的书当作词典来使用。
电子词典或词汇书只提供了单词的某些意思并未提供单词的用法，有些词汇书即使提供了单词的用法，也是比较片面的。我认为要学好英语，必须要有一本好的词典，而且还要学会正确使用词典。
然而，大部分学生认为使用词典的目的就是查单词的意思，并未做到充分利用词典所提供的全部信息。在使用一本词典时，首先要研究本词典的使用说明等。
这种说明详细提供了有关词典里使用各种符号及其它注意事项，帮助使用者最充分地使用词典。 إ 二、词汇的学习必须摆脱练习题的束缚إ 学生为了应付考试，把大部分时间花在用来背英语单词并做大量的词汇、语法模拟练习。
词汇的学习必须摆脱练习题的束缚，到语言知识所在的语言环境里去，即到书本里去学，到阅读材料里去学。单词的学习不能脱离句子，句子的学习不能脱离文章，也就是上下文。
只有有了上下文，才能充分理解所学的语言知识。在理解的基础上所学的语言知识是牢固持久的；而孤立地背单词、做练习所得的知识是肤浅、短暂的。
用这种孤立的学习方法也永远找不到学习英语的感觉。因此在教学中，我特别注重词汇方法的学习，让学生积累有用的词汇。
在所学的每个单元的对话和课文中，都有很多单词、词组、习惯用语和句型。每个单元我都坚持听写单词、词组。
有的老师在课文讲解之前听写单词，我认为这种方法只会事倍功半。因为在老师的讲解下，学生了解了这些单词的用法，但并非会用。
只有经过课下的学习、消化并在理解所学文章的基础上才能真正掌握这些单词，最终达到会用的目的。在讲解课文时，对于课文中出现的重要句型，我事先叫学生标出，正确分析其句子结构，注意中英文排列顺序的异同，然后叫他们读熟，最后我在给出类似句型的句子叫学生来练习。
为了加深记忆，下次上课时利用几分钟的时间进行听写。这种随学随用的方法有助于学生透彻理解和扎实牢固地掌握所学知识。
إ 三、反复训练，提高写作水平إ 英语写作能力是学生综合运用英语能力的体现。学生们通过写作课，学习写作的方法、技巧、修辞手段，以及文章的各种体裁的要求；同时，在老师的帮助下，通过对一些优秀作品的欣赏，学习遣词造句，布局谋篇。
这是一般意义上学习写作所涵盖的几个方面。由于高职院不同于本科院校，在学生英语写作上的要求也不尽相同。
教学大纲对高职学生写作上的要求更注重实用性。由于高职学生英文写作水平低，因此，在写作课上要抓住课上认真听，课下反复练的原则，注意以下几个阶段的训练：إ 1.由词到句的训练阶段 إ 在学完每单元后，我一般都要求学生用我所给的单词、词组及句型造句。
在课堂上，我针对每个单元所学的单词、词组及句型进行操练，让学生编写对话或小故事等。课后，我及时布置一些中译英练习或用我给定的词语造句，这样可以起到巩固词汇的作用。
除了练习还要注意引导学生多做一些一句多译练习，启发学生的写作思路。 إ 2.由句到段的训练阶段 إ 这个阶段主要以改写或缩写课文为主。
学生在学习课文时积累了不少词汇、句型，在此基础上要求他们改写或缩写课文是练习写作的最好时机。我们所学的课文，文字优美、语言地道、题材广泛，对课文进行一系列的写作训练，如改写、缩写等可以提高英语写作水平。
以课文为中心训练写作能力非常重要，因为课文中的句子就是规范的地道的英语范文。比如《实用英语 》第一册第一单元讲述我的大学生活，学完课文后，我要求学生根据自己的感受，结合课文内容写一篇题目为“My new college life”的文章。
通过批改学生的作业，我发现学生写出来的文章不是完全抄袭课文内容，而是有很多自己的东西在里面。这样既提高了写作水平又达到了学以致用的目的。
在我们所学的课文练习中，有记叙文、日记、通知、便条、书信等，还有科普文章、广告和说明等多种体裁，从一些常见的文体练起，由短到长，由浅入深，循序渐进地进行。إ 3.阅读课外英文读物 إ 除了课本的学习，还应多读一些简易的英语课外读物，如《中国日报》、《英语周报》、《21世纪报》等。
阅读这些刊物，不仅可以帮助学生巩固和活用课本里所学的知识，也为提高写作能力打下更坚实的基础。在阅读这些刊物时，我们让学生把一些有用的词句和段落抄下来背熟。
这样持之以恒地坚。

记忆中最早接触英语这门课是从小学三年级开始的。那时我们的小学刚刚从三年级普及英语教学。和大多数孩子一样，当时的我对英语可以说是一窍不通，只记得小学的课本上有很多的图片，老师布置作业就是把图片画出来，然后写上它的英文单词。例如：床（bed）、伞（umbrella）、鞋（shoots）、铅笔（pencil）之类，都是一些很基础的单词。那时的我对这些不感兴趣，倒是每次老师用录音机放磁带的时候，我很喜欢，也不知道为什么。就是喜欢读，喜欢模仿磁带里的发音。可以说，小学的我除了读，我什么都不会。

语法的学习
也许有的人会说，其实英语母语国家的人都不学语法的，我们学语法也没有什么用。你如果这样想那你就错了，你应该知道，他们不学语法有一个前提，那就是他周围的人说的都是英语。就像我们学汉语一样，一开始我们也是不学语法的。学语法是为了让我们更好地了解英语的逻辑，使学英语达到事半功倍的效果。练习是学习语法最好的方法，也就是造句，写作，以及最基本的口语句子造句。小方法：把今天学习的语法通过自己想之后创作起来几个句子，最好是你喜欢的句子，然后写在小纸条上，除了反复看，还有多读，轻读，像疯子一样快读都行。语法是英语学习中最枯燥的环节，但仔细看看，你会发现同中文有很多相通之处，如句子构成，主谓宾，词的运用，要注意的就是中英文元素排序不同。语法对于分析句子的意思帮助也是非常大的，尤其是超长的句子，有的时候一个句子就有三四行甚至占据整个段落。尝到了甜头，就有了学语法的动力了。

对于每个刚刚步入课堂的孩子来说，培养学习兴趣是最重要的，尤其是英语作为一门语言，与数学物理那样的学科不同，需要更多地在日常的使用中不断提高和巩固学习的内容。因此，我认为小学时的英语课堂上应当处处洋溢着欢声笑语，充满乐趣。通过在英语课堂上放一些英语儿歌，或是一些英文原版动画片，能够让这些刚刚推开英语宝库之门的懵懂好奇的孩子在欣赏与放松中首先充分领略英语的美好与魅力。自然而然地，他们的注意力都会在那些优美的旋律和有趣的故事情节之外也被这门奇妙的语言所吸引，在一步步拉近与英语的距离的过程中，也让每一个孩子的英语学习变得更加轻松与快乐。但九层之台，起于垒土，搭建英语这座大厦也需要稳固的地基，从学习英语的第一天起，我们就一定要培养起良好的学习习惯，坚持单词记忆，不断扩大词汇量，脚踏实地，点滴积累，这样才能最终让属于自己的英语大厦高耸入云。
进入中学时代后，英语的学习任务和学习难度都会增大，我们也必须端正态度认认真真地对待。英语学习是一段非常需要持之以恒的耐心与毅力的慢慢征途，从纠正发音到背单词，从背单词到学写简单的句子，从简单的句子到短小的段落，再从短小的段落到一篇流畅的文章……每一个脚印都必须踏踏实实地迈好，每一个环节都至关重要，不能有丝毫的放松和懈怠。
我们每一个人都应当给自己制定详细的英语学习计划：比如坚持每天上课认真记课堂笔记，晚上回家首先写英语作业；坚持每天迎着朝阳早早起床朗读英语课文、背诵单词，晚上临睡前听听英语磁带，伴着耳边的美妙英文进入梦乡；坚持把单词抄在小本子上，每天在往返于学校和家之间的路途中一有空就捧在手里背一背……虽然的确需要我们付出极大的艰辛和努力，但我相信，在英语这片土地上，我们洒下的每一滴汗水都会最终收获丰硕的果实。
当然，学习英语努力固然重要，但是也必须掌握正确的学习方法。举例说来，背单词，死记硬背只能勉强收到一时的效果，随着时间的推移必然会逐渐淡忘，成效甚微。记单词的关键是要学好音标，掌握音标的规则之后记忆单词就变成了一件简单有效的事情了。同时，要掌握新学的句型和语法，一个极其有效的好方法就是坚持记英文日记，这样既能对当天学习的句型和单词加以运用，又能不断培养和提高英语的写作能力。至于听力，只听课文是远远不够的，平时可以经常听一听英语广播，那里面精彩有趣的英语故事不仅可以锻炼我们的英语听力，还可以让我们学习到一些课本以外的知识……只要掌握了学习的窍门，就可以轻松而愉快地学习英语，达到事半功倍的效果。
同时，滴水穿石的恒心和毅力是学习任何学科都必不可少的，英语更是如此。与数学相比，英语作为一门语言更加需要我们在平时的点滴积累中逐渐提高学习能力。所以，千里之行，始于足下，每天的点滴积累对于英语学习自然是至关重要的。直至现在我都非常庆幸自己在一开始就养成了每天早上晨读和背单词的好习惯。每天清晨，迎着微风，在朝阳灿烂的光晖中用美妙的英文开始自己崭新的一天，这对我而言是一件何其幸福与快乐的事情啊。时光荏苒，走出校园的我依然没有放弃这份坚持，只要一有机会，我就一定会将清晨的美好时光献给我挚爱的英语，感受那份发自内心的学习的愉悦。现在英语已经成为了我珍爱的宝物，它融入了我的生活，融入了我的生命，也将伴我走过脚下的漫漫人生路。而我相信，只要大家能够像我一样从心底里热爱英语，培养良好的学习习惯，掌握正确的学习方法，从一点一滴做起，持之以恒，就一定能够在英语这片广袤富饶的土地上发掘到无穷的宝藏。让我们共同迈向轻松愉悦的英语之旅，尽情享受英语学习的快乐吧
