英语完形阅读黑动动
Ⅰ 有关初二的英语完形填空和阅读理解...................................................................
1.C adj.+enough enough+n. 这是enough的搭配顺序
2.A 因为我最喜欢数学,所以可以预见我擅长数学,那么我并不认为"hard(难)"了
3.C 句子时态是过去式,所以D排除,然后是there be 句型,B也排除,又questions是复数,所以选择C
4.B look是系动词,其功能相当于be,时态是过去时
5.D also,too,either都有“也”的意思,但also比too正式一些,语气较重,只用于肯定句,一般紧靠动词。either用于否定句,放在句末,之前加逗号;而yet常用于否定句,语气比still稍强,之不管做出多大努力或让步,仍然达不到预期的结果,用的时候前面不用“,”
6.A While+be doing,after 在……之后 before 在……之前 该句是对比前两者的情况,想说自己答题的时候将这个过程当做一场游戏,所以不用after,也不用before
7.D like侧重A B两者间的比较,并不意味着A和B属于一类或完全相似. as则侧重于同一性,意味着A B两者属于同一类或完全相似. see to负责, 注意, 照料,for没有“像”的意思
8.B look 看 find out 找出 find 找到 search 搜索,这个词太大,不适合
9.A other people 其他人 another people 另一个人 the other people 另一个人(总共只有两个人) others 后面不加people,它本身就有其他所有的意思。选A而不选B是因为句子后面是"questions"复数
10.D 如果我告诉你,你会杀了我吗?不妨把句子换成:If I ___ you, you will kill me 来找出答案。因为主句使用的是将来时,从句使用一般现在时
阅读
1.C 选择错误的,A从"Protest youself"可知正确,该段主要叙述的是户外的安全;B从"Tell the truth"一段可知,后面列举的行为是当的行为;D从"Use the Internet carefully"可判断为正确。
2.D 最后说要考虑到他人,而不是以自我为中心。说明这一段要讲的是为人处事方面的问题。要与人有好相处。getting on well with others表达的就是这个意思
3.B 原文"The Internet can be be very useful for your studies"表明正确利用网络有助于学生的学习

Photos that you might have found down the back of your sofa are now big business!
In 2005, the American artist Richard Prince’s photograph of a photograph, Untitled (Cowboy), was sold for $ 1, 248, 000.
Prince is certainly not the only contemporary artist to have worked with so-called “found photographs”—a loose term given to everything from discarded(丢弃的) prints discovered in a junk shop to old advertisements or amateur photographs from a stranger’s family album. The German artist Joachim Schmid, who believes “basically everything is worth looking at”, has gathered discarded photographs, postcards and newspaper images since 1982. In his on-going project, Archiv, he groups photographs of family life according to themes: people with dogs; teams; new cars; dinner with the family; and so on.
Like Schmid, the editors of several self-published art magazines also champion (捍卫) found photographs. One of them, called simply Found, was born one snowy night in Chicago, when Davy Rothbard returned to his car to find under his wiper(雨刷) an angry note intended for some else: “Why’s your car HERE at HER place?” The note became the starting point for Rothbard’s addictive publication, which features found photographs sent in by readers, such a poster discovered in our drawer.
The whole found-photograph phenomenon has raised some questions. Perhaps one of the most difficult is: can these images really be considered as art? And if so, whose art? Yet found photographs proced by artists, such Richard Prince, may riding his horse hurriedly to meet someone? Or how did Prince create this photograph? It’s anyone’s guess. In addition, as we imagine the back-story to the people in the found photographs artists, like Schmid, have collated (整理), we also turn toward our own photographic albums. Why is memory so important to us? Why do we all seek to freeze in time the faces of our children, our parents, our lovers, and ourselves? Will they mean anything to anyone after we’ve gone?
64. The first paragraph of the passage is used to _________.
A. remind readers of found photographs
B. advise reader to start a new kind of business
C. ask readers to find photographs behind sofa
D. show readers the value of found photographs
65. According to the passage, Joachim Schmid _________.
A. is fond of collecting family life photographs
B. found a complaining not under his car wiper
C. is working for several self-published magazines
D. wondered at the artistic nature of found photographs
66. The underlined word “them” in Para 4 refers to __________.
A. the readers
B. the editors
C. the found photographs
D. the self-published magazines
67. By asking a series of questions in Para 5, the author mainly intends to indicate that ________.
A. memory of the past is very important to people
B. found photographs allow people to think freely
C. the back-story of found photographs is puzzling
D. the real value of found photographs is questionable
68. The author’s attitude towards found photographs can be described as _________.

Reading for pleasure is the easiest way to become a better reader in English. It is also the most important way.
Some students say they don’t want to read for pleasure. They say they want to use their time to learn the rules of the language and new words. They say that pleasure reading is too easy.
Many experts (专家) say pleasure reading is very important for learning English. Dr. Stephen Krashen, a famous expert on learning languages, says that pleasure reading helps you learn many important things about English. Students learn more grammar and more words when they read for pleasure. They also learn more about good writing.
Dr. Krashen tells us that pleasure reading helps each student in a different way. Each student needs to learn something different. Pleasure reading makes it possible for each student to learn what he or she needs.
Reading for pleasure is not the same as studying. When you read for pleasure, you choose your own books, and you don’t have to remember everything. There are no tests on your pleasure reading books. Pleasure reading will help you:
learn how English speakers use English
read faster in English
find examples of good writing in English
learn new words
learn about the cultures (文化) of English speakers
47. Is pleasure reading important for learning English?

阅读理解练习:
(一)
Hi, Louis!
I'm writing to tell you something about the customs and festivals.
Everyone loves holidays since one doesn't need to go to school or work. Although all holidays mean no school and work, but not all of them are the same. On some of them you go out with friends; on others you stay home to eat, talk, and have fun with your family. For example in the U.S., everyone thinks New Year's Eve and New Year are both for partying with friends. Christmas is the time to stay home and exchange gifts with family members. The opposite is true in Japan though. For example, in Japan, New Year is for spending time with the family to eat, talk, have fun, and go to the temples. But Christmas is for boy and girl friends to go out and exchange gifts. Originally Christmas should be to celebrate the birth of Christ.
I have been interested in foreign customs since I was little. If you learn these different holiday customs, you will learn about different histories and cultures. This is much more interesting than learning them at the library from morning to evening.
Love,
Sue

Most people have flown a kite or have seen one ride and dip(下降) in strong spring wind. Not so many people know that kites were first made in China thousands of years ago. The ancient (古代的) Chinese were making and flying kites even before they were writing.
A long time ago, the Chinese made kites to use in wars. They would fly these war kites in the dark. The kites were fixed (固定) so that they made strange sounds. Men who were at war with them would hear these sounds and run away. They thought those strange sounds were made by gods(神) in the sky.
The ancient Chinese also flew kites to bring good luck and to make their crops(农作物) grow rich and tall. Sometimes they tied long strings (细绳) and hooks (钩) to their kites. Then they would fly the kites over water, letting the hooks hang down to catch fish.
The Chinese use sticks(树枝), strings(线) and paper for their kites. Some of these kites look like animals or trees. Others look like birds or houses.
