一、指导思想
小学阶段开设英语课程的目的是培养学生学习英语的积极情感,形成初步的英语语感,为其打好语音、语调基础,最终使学生具备初步的用所学英语进行交流的能力。阅读教学在外语教学中起着十分重要的作用,它可以帮助学生得到乐趣,获取信息,培养学生的英语阅读理解能力,使学生养成良好的英语阅读习惯,具有正确的阅读技巧,拥有主动学习的能力和合作的精神,为终身学习打下基础。阅读是巩固和扩大词汇量的好方法。然而现行的小学英语并无明确的英语阅读教学目标和配套的阅读教材,因此在小学阶段开设英语阅读课具有重要的现实意义,也是时代发展的必然趋势,
二、总体目标
面向全体学生,注重素质教育。关注每个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,激发学生广泛的阅读兴趣,使学生喜欢阅读,感受阅读的乐趣。.引导学生注重积累,注重阅读感受和体验,培养语感。培养学生良好的阅读习惯。增强学生阅读理解和分析鉴赏能力。使他们在学习过程中发展综合语言运用能力,提高人文素养。
三、阅读目的
1.扩大学生的词汇量。通过阅读,让学生掌握更多的词汇,进一步提高英语的阅读水平和范围,让他们的生活不再仅限于课堂上,让他们体验到学习英语的快乐。
2.积极营造书香校园,激发学生英语阅读的兴趣,培养学生良好的英语阅读习惯,拓宽学生的英语视野,全面提高学生的综合英语素养。
3.介绍英美文化背景,帮助学生理解不同文化背景下的习惯用语并增加学习兴趣,拓宽眼界,增长知识。

四、阅读对象:五年级学生
1 . 注重单词词组的积累,让学生自备一本专用记录本,记下所学的单词,词组或小语法等,以便经常翻阅,复习,防止遗忘。
2. 鼓励学生动手制作英语小报。
五、具体目标
1.能借助图片读懂简单的故事或小短文,并养成按意群阅读的习惯。
2.能结合上下文,理解句子。养成用英语思维的习惯,阅读速度有所提高,能够根据阅读材料的相关内容,回答一些较为复杂的问题。
六、保障措施
1.创设阅读氛围
可以向学生征集英语方面的课外书籍,让学生将书带到教室,方便学生阅读。充分利用教室内外的黑板报、手抄报等阵地展示经典佳句,展示学生的阅读成果,营造诵读的氛围。
2.指导阅读方法
指导读书方法,组织学生开展形式多样的阅读交流活动,对不喜欢读书的`学生,要特别关注,经常引导、鼓励、熏陶、点拨。

一、指导思想
我校以《英语课程标准》和新教育理论为行动指南,全面落实省教研室和市教育局《关于加强英语课外阅读指导意见》,初步构建课外阅读课程,让阅读成为学生日常的生活方式。通过英语课外阅读,不断拓宽学生视野,增强学生获取信息的能力,体验学习英语的乐趣,树立学好英语的自信心,实现学习英语的真正意义和价值,为学生终身学习和未来生活奠定坚实的基础。
二、工作思路
1、眼里常“见”(氛围熏陶,校园文化布置,均用双语体现,建设校园网站,开辟“每周一读”英文阅读板块)
2、耳里常“听”(校园有声,校园广播定时放些英语日常用语,文明用语)
3、嘴里常“说”(同学互说,提倡同学之间见面能用英语问好,打招呼)
4、心里常“记”(班级文化,班级文化栏内,增“ “每周一句”栏目)
5、脑里常“想”(活动巩固,定期举办比赛听、说、读、唱、等活动,积极参与,进行巩固和应用)
三、课外阅读活动的目标
设立英语课外阅读课,不但要让学生学到知识,更要让学生学会学习、学会做人,提高学生人文素养,促进学生全面与可持续发展。通过课外阅读活动,要让学生感受读书带来的快乐,喜欢和好书交朋友;通过英语课外阅读,培养学生养成良好的阅读习惯,具有独立阅读的能力,注重情感体验,有较丰富的积累,形成良好的语感;通过英语课外阅读,让学生学会运用多种阅读方法,并且能借助工具书和图片读懂简单的故事。
四、课外阅读活动的实施
(一)、保证课外阅读时间,提高 “阅读”效率。
学生每天都要有至少40分钟的阅读时间,每周按轮换计划进行《轻松英语名作赏析——小学版》的教师指导阅读活动,利用家庭作布置学生自读,每周的英语兴趣小组活动进行英语课外阅读的辅导。让学生自由阅读,自由笔记,摘录好词佳句,用英语叙述故事情节等。
