We are leaving school and we decide to give a gift to Mr Li who has taught us for three years. Two suggestions have been provided by our classmates. One is that we may give him an album with photos of all the students in our class. The other suggestion is that a tape in which our best wishes are recorded should be given to him.
In my opinion, we had better buy a album for Mr Li. First, an album is easier to be kept than a tape. A tape may be easily destroyed a few years later and does not work. Second, I think, the photos in the album can easily remind Mr Li of his lovely students and the good days when he got together with us. Third, voice may be changed a lot after many years as to us young students, while faces do not have such great changes. In a word, I suggest .we take photos in time and present them in the album to Mr Li.
耐性”,be patient with为固定短语。
实际上,下文省略了“you should”,如补全完整,该句为"you should find out the main idea of each paragraph”。
“must have been doing"表肯定至少车速在150公里每小时。
第二句前一分句中的“half a year before”已明确告知时间,故A项排除。由第二句后一分句"only because of this…”
37.C [解析]“make every possible efforts”为固定短语。
由46题“following the car"可知,“a strange noise”是由后面传来。
46.A [解析]由本段最后“thousands of bees…
易错项:D 项,考生如果未注意到“when he stopped…”
50.D [解析]“it was not long before…”
全文读至最后一段第一句“the basic steps necessary for problem solving.…”
由第二段第五行“the teacher who developed this program”可知。
由第二段第六行“……without fear of blame…”
由第五段最后一句“the result is view for tired eyes to enjoy”推断。
由文章最后一段倒数第四行“both are based on the mistaken belief that one’s self—respect relies on how well one performs in comparison with others”可知。
由本句后文“if we have…”“可判断。
“much larger values“应被摧毁”。
“examination system"此处定指下文中的“the only measure”。
85.if→whether [解析]考查if和whether在表“是否”时用法的区别。if不能与or not连用。

Green Action in Our Class
April 12 is memorable because our class had a meaningful experience on that day. In
the morning, we bicycled to the suburbs to plant trees, talking and laughing all the
way. Upon arrival, we began to work immediately. Some were digging holes. Some were
carrying and planting young trees. Others were watering them. After getting the work
done, we put up a board reminding people to protect the trees. Before leaving we took
some photos to record our green action. Seeing the lines of trees, we all had a sense
of achievement. We feel it's our ty to protect and beautify our environment.
One possible version:
What an interesting picture! A Western young man, sitting at a table, is ready to
eat a bowl of noodles. He is holding two forks the same way as we Chinese hold
chopsticks. He is trying so hard to pick up the noodles that he is sweating a lot. At
first glance, I think it's a bit funny, for we Chinese take for granted that
chopsticks are the tools for eating noodles. The man in the picture is trying to
us. Obviously he is doing it the hard way. Maybe using one fork will do a better job.
In my opinion, we don't need to other's ways of thinking. Sometimes a simpler
way of doing things may be a better way.
