一 、边欣赏图边聆听阶段
为了充分调动学生的积极性和好奇心，把小本的原版英语儿童绘本放大，做成了色彩绚丽，图画优美的超级大书，绝对是小朋友在平时的生活中见不到的形式。然后由我带领学生一起读故事，并播放绘本故事的原音音频。我用夸张的语言和表情演绎，加上原声抑扬顿挫的语调，把学生们彻底带进故事当中。当我把幻灯片放给学生看时，学生们一下就被图片所吸引，即使在听的过程中孩子有些不认识的单词，那也不会成为孩子阅读理解文章的绊脚石。通过栩栩如生的图片学生可以自己去猜单词，意会单词，从而理解文章的意义。绘本的神奇就在于它的的画面和它的语言，没有任何语言上的障碍。在讲到

二 、演绎模仿阶段
每个孩子都有表现自己的欲望，并强烈想得到别人的关注和赞美，我们根据儿童的这一心理特点，做出了强化阅读英语绘本故事兴趣的第二环节——角色表演阶段，同时也是锻炼儿童英语口语能力的阶段。
表演要出色，就要模仿原版的英文发音和技巧。小学生是最善于模仿的，大家轮流模仿的时候，其他人已经差不多会背诵了。然后由老师分配同学们所表演的绘本角色，并戴上自制的简单头饰，配饰。通过角色表演，将整个绘本故事用英语演绎出来，排演出一部非常好看的绘本儿童剧。
三、 自己编故事结局
孩子的可贵之处在于天马行空的想像，有了想象力，才有创造力。想象在续写绘本中起重要作用，离开想象不可能续写好的结尾，而想象的运用离不开生活经验。
在教学绘本时候， 有时我会把原版结局减掉，让孩子自己创编结尾。这个环节是学生们的最爱。他们乘着想象的翅膀，在自己的童话世界飞翔。
在The Lion & the Mouse 故事到了倒数第二张幻灯片时，我提出：“What will happen next? ”
学生展开了积极的讨论，他们争先恐后举手发言。一个女生说：
