In life, people come across many experiences, which they remember throughout their lives. I had a similar experience, too.
I was very excited. It was the day of my last paper of the final examination. My mind was full of thoughts of how I would spend my vacation. I was especially excited of the invitation that my uncle had given me to stay with him for a few days in Cambridge.
I was prepared for the subject, physics. My friends and I were on the ground doing the last minute revisions and also discussing the questions that were supposed to come in the paper. I checked my paper twice and corrected some of the mistakes in it. I started thinking about the place my friends and t had planned to go after the paper.
Though I was thinking for a long time, the time seemed to be endless. So I thought of drawing something on the question paper and turned it overleaf. I was shocked to see that the page whhich I had supposed to be blank had four more questions on it which carried 20 marks and would take at least half an hour to complete. ⑹ 小升初英语阅读题答题技巧

在备考阶段，首先要背单词。俗话说“巧妇难为无米之炊”，单词就是“米”。所有的技巧都是建立在一定的基础之上的，如果没有单词作为基础，再多的技巧也只是无米之炊。小升初的词汇量是800-1000个词汇，而新概念一册中的词汇量达到了1500个词汇。所以，学完新概念一册之后，孩子们所掌握的词汇应付小升初考试已经绰绰有余了。其次要了解熟悉阅读理解中常见的题型。所谓知己知彼，百战不殆。小升初的阅读理解常见题型有猜测词义、细节题、主旨题、推断题。最后就是坚持练习，选择难度符合孩子学习水平的阅读专项训练书，每天或者隔天做一篇，持之以恒，效果显著。

在解题过程当中，我们可以根据考察的题型来运用相对应的技巧来提高得分。

1、猜测词义题

这种题型考查孩子根据上下文猜测生词的含义的能力。首先，我们可以根据文中的释义来猜词，释义常由定语从句或由…is, or, that is (to say), in other words, be called等词汇或破折号来表示。

例如我们可以根据这个句子猜测calendar的'意思：A calendar is a list of the days, weeks, months of a year. 一年中所有日子，星期，月份的清单表示的就是日历。

其次，我们也可以根据对比转折关系来推测词义，表转折关系的词常有but, while, however, instead of , rather than , unlike, yet, though 等。

第三，我们还可以根据因果关系来猜测词义。常用关联词如: because，as，since，for，so, so … that, such … that 等表示前因后果。

第四，我们可以根据生活常识或者经验来猜测词义。例如The snake slithered through the grass.句子中slithered是什么意思呢?根据生活常识，我们知道蛇只能爬行，所以slithered就是爬行的意思。而我们的学生在做题时思维容易被困在文章当中，不能及时发散思维大胆想象推测。

2、主旨大意题

这类题的答案通常在文章的首句尾句，或者文章的首尾附近。

3、推理判断题

要解决这类题首先要找到并划出选项对应原文中的句子。此汪若是直接原句，则直接选答案。若原句不能答题，则往下看一句，往上看一句，做出推断，并选出答案。在推理题目中，若存在两个或两个以上合理的推理，只选择最直接的原因或结果，也往往是由靠原句最近的一句话揭示。我们的学生在做这种类型的题目的时候常犯的错误森袜仔是加入自己的主观判断，联想生活中的特殊情况，脱离原文。

4、细节题。

这类题目首先要明白题目问的是什么，找出关键词，回到原文中问什么就找什么。对于题干所问及的内容，一定要回到原文进行定位，要理解文章作者的原意，千万不能不找原文而按你自己的意愿去想当然。对于题目选项的筛选也有小窍门：选项中含有绝对语气的，往往不是正确答案如：always, never, all, every等

总而言之，要想在拿下小升初的英语阅好谨读分数，词汇、做题技巧、针对性训练三者缺一不可。
