一，掌握基本的句型及句子结构

英语句子不管有多么复杂，都是有七种基本句型演化而来。遗憾地是，很多人学英语十几年了，连句子结构还没有搞清楚:

1. 主语+不及物动词。如：I arrived at six last night.

2. 主语+及物动词+宾语，如：I bought a good English Chinese Dictionary yesterday.

3. 主语+及物动词+间接宾语+直接宾语，如：Please tell me a story before I go to bed. 这样可加双宾语的句子有buy,tell, give, ask, pass, teach.

4. 主语+及物动词+宾语+宾语补足语，如：I found it impossible to do it. Please keep the classroom clean and tidy.

5. 主语+系动词+表语，如：Tom is an American boy. The grass turned green in spring.

6. There be…句型，表示存在某种事物，如： There is a map on the wall其be动词的形式要与其后面相近的那个名词相一致。

7. 祈使句; Tell me about what you saw in the USA.
二.英语和汉语究竟有什么不同？许多人觉得英语难学，是因为没有掌握英语句型结构和我们母语的句子的区别。

一. 谓语动词的变化：汉语里动词没有变化。而英语里谓语动词要根据时间，主动被动，主语单复数和语气（疑问，否定，祈使，虚拟）变化

② He thought that he must have buried the hare in a place he knew well; ③ he still could not see the connection with Katherine of Aragon, until one day he came across two stone crosses in Ampthill Park and learnt that they had been built in her honor in 1773.在第一和第二个分句中,分别有两个宾语从句： Kit Williams has spent his childhood near Ampthill, in Bedfordshire和he must have buried the hare in a place he knew well. 第三个分句较为复杂些：其中有一个句型not …until; 在由until 引导的时间状语从句中又有一个宾语从句：they had been built in her honor in 1773作learnt 的宾语。
