我是经历过高考的学生，就我的观念来看，只要高考还存在一天，中国的高中无论是出于内自身利容益，还是出于为学生利益都应该严格服务应试教育。说培养学生素质什么的在当前背景下不可能成立，而且“劳民伤财”。用英语授课增加了听课的负担，不利于对学生应试能力的培养，特别是对一些基础较差的学生。
另外，我高中就读的是重点中学，但在我的记忆中，英语老师实在普遍不具备英语授课的能力。一堂课老师貌似是用英语讲了半天，其实无外乎都是些OK GOOD TURN TO PAGE THAT IS TO SAY之类的像哄小孩一样的东西，很难说学生听力能有什么提高。稍微讲到关键免不了汉语补充的，真的很没意思。我并不是说英语授课不好，我也希望老师说话能跟外国人一样标准熟练，还人人都能听懂，还能达到考试要求，但，还是那句话，得考虑到现实啊！
因此我强烈反对英语课全英文。而如果部分用英文那一定变成了哄小孩那一部分，这是隔靴搔痒啊。其实我觉得只要老师水平高，用汉语讲课一样能达到目的。我记得初中我们老师都是用汉语教的，我们成绩也都挺好的。
