穿过广场，就到了火山群中最有名的大空山脚下。抬头一看，“妈呀，还真是高哇！”我不禁咽了口唾沫，表姐看着我，笑着说：“怎么了，爬啊！”，我点了点头，于是，我们向山顶进军。
沿着百级石阶，我和表姐一路向上攀爬，仍然走在我们群体的最前面。可是，爬了大约三分之一时，我和表姐都喘着粗气，实在有点爬不动了，这时，大人们也赶上来了。爸爸看了看我们，问了一声：“需不需要帮助。”我和表姐回答道：“不需要，我们能行！”这时，我们不再领先了，夹杂在大人中间努力向上攀登。
爬到半山腰时，有一个休息的平台，我和表姐一屁股就坐在石凳上，相互看了一眼，心里都有点不想再爬的意思了。大人们继续向前走着，稍走几步又停停，其实他们是在等候着我们。这时，只听到爸爸说：“坚持住，坚持就是胜利！”我和表姐在观察着休息台四周的情况，我眼睛一亮，看到树影下有一位头发花白的老奶奶在卖冰棒，我就拉着姐姐跑了过去，一人买了一根。冰棒含在嘴里，那叫一个爽，凉滋滋地。这时，我看见老奶奶，面带微笑的看着我们姐俩。我心想老奶奶这么大年纪了，还背着冰棒箱，都能爬到这山腰间，我空手怎么就不能爬到山顶呢？于是，我们又屁颠屁颠地跟在大人的后面向山顶进发。
眼看快到山顶了。我和表姐实在是没有半点力气了。那真叫做是一个难，一步一小歇，三步一坐；抬头一口水，低头一把汗。爸爸站在山顶的入口处对着我们喊：“加油！坚持就是胜利！”“一定要拿出九十才过半的精神来。”
我们终于到达了山顶。我成功了。到了山顶后，我做了一口深呼吸，在树影下小歇了片刻。我站到了山的最高点，看着山下络绎不绝的游人，看着天空中翱翔飞行器，看着缓缓升起的热气球……
坚持就是胜利！胜利就是成功。成功是一种喜悦，成功是一种自信，成功也是一种磨练，成功也是一种坚持……
