美国多数院校希望看到推销自我的风格文书，比如谈谈自己的学术兴趣、背景和个性魅力等，如果是申请MBA这样的专业，同学们要尽量放大自己的优点，但更加偏向学术性的申请，还是需要有所规范，但也要突出自己的优势和亮点。
02 文书内容
文书材料包含申请时需要提交的CV、PS或SOP和推荐信，部分专业为额外要求同学们提供PHS（或者diversity statement），research statement，以及writing sample，具体需要提交哪些文书材料，同学们可以查询或咨询专业老师来了解准备。
CV，Curriculum vitae，是所需提交的文书材料中最基础的一项，是对Resume的详细阐述，一般来说Resume的篇幅较短，在1页以内，是对整个学业的简述，比较适合商科类专业申请使用；CV则是对整个学业的细致描述，一般需要2页，适合非商科类专业的理工科申请。但无论是CV还是Resume，都需要包含ecation、research & work experience、Publication（如有）、awards & honors和social activities （需要和申请的专业有关，没有特别相关的则需要描述展现领/组织能力的活动）。
