因為這種釣場水溫相對較高，還經常有人打水、洗滌，農戶飼養的鴨子經常下水遊玩嬉戲和覓食，鬧得魚 兒(主要是鯽魚)，難以冬眠，且有一定的食慾，魚容易被釣獲，在一般情況下，垂釣效果比較明顯。此外，選擇堤邊、山腳向陽避風的小塘、小池、小坑冬釣，也 常傳佳音。

冬釣二忌：老窩久釣

在夏季選准一個窩點，持續垂釣數天，仍有魚上鉤，有時還上魚較歡。但是在冬季就不同了，因為在該季節，魚兒一般以小群分散，分別找到適 合和屬於自己的水域(或叫領域)越冬，其活動和覓食極少，即使在陽光充足的天氣里，也只在其領域附近活動。

因此，在此季節，選擇好的窩點，釣上幾個小時後 再無魚上鉤，說明此領域的魚兒基本被釣完，就要立即轉移到預先准備好的窩點上垂釣或輪釣。

冬釣三忌：耐心不夠

冬季野釣，一個最起碼的要求，就是釣者要有耐心，這也是衡量一個人心理素質高低的重要標志之一。當選好釣點，投下適量的誘餌後，一般需 要1～2個小時，魚兒才會慢慢開口咬鉤。

如果釣者缺乏耐心，每個窩點釣一二十分鍾，見無魚上鉤就走，其結果必然是收獲欠佳。但話又說回來，若在一個窩點已 經釣了2個小時左右，仍然無魚兒問津，就要當即立斷，轉移到其他窩點垂釣。

冬釣四忌：風線鬆弛

風線在水面過於鬆弛，直接影響提竿時竿、線、鉤的聯動速度，就難抓住那「一瞬」的時機，這是造成魚兒吐鉤、脫鉤跑魚的重要原因之一。因 此，冬釣時宜用長竿(6.3米以上)短線(占竿長50%)，風線基本牽直，堅持按正確要領提竿，就會大大減少提空竿和脫鉤跑魚的現象。

冬釣五忌：大鉤大餌

冬天，魚兒一般食慾不振，即使咬鉤，也是張嘴小、吸食慢、動作輕。如用大鉤大餌垂釣，就難以奏效。據此，在冬釣中，應盡量使用小鉤小餌 垂釣。

例如：鉤可使用丸8號小鉤；用面餌作釣餌，每次取綠豆大小一坨，掛在鉤尖上，整形成倒圓錐形(不露鉤尖)，投入窩點垂釣；用蚯蚓做釣餌，每次取火柴 捧粗細一條，將整個鉤身穿滿，長出部分從鉤尖外掐斷(也不露鉤尖)，投入窩點垂釣。用小鉤小餌冬釣，不僅能多釣魚，而且還可以達到大小魚兼收的效果。

冬釣六忌：重墜大漂

冬季野釣，一般應使用流線形小墜，千秋3號小漂(類似即可)。出釣前，用水平調漂法調試好，釣時，漂尾露出水面1～2目為宜，這樣，不僅好觀漂，靈敏度高，而且上魚率也高。

冬釣七忌：釣線過粗

冬季垂釣，使用2.5號主線和1.5號腦線即可，不能太粗。不必擔心這樣的線組碰上大魚怎麼辦，事實上，因為冬天魚的掙扎力比較小，即 使碰上大魚，只要不強拉硬拽，一樣可以將大魚擒獲。如去年初冬的一天中午，筆者用上述同樣的主、腦線釣組，在一廢棄的渾水魚塘里，順利地釣獲了一條 2500餘克的大鯉魚。

冬釣八忌：寒潮出釣

冬季，在我們江漢平原，寒潮會頻繁「光臨」。大、中寒潮到來時，天氣惡劣，氣溫一般會下降6～10℃，水溫也隨之大幅度下降。這時，魚 兒一度難以適應，表現出「身體」不適，萎靡不振，全無食慾。因此，最好是在寒潮來臨前的二日、當日或寒潮過去數日後再出釣為妙。即使是小寒潮來臨時，也要掌握好出釣的時機。

冬釣九忌：提竿過猛

鯽魚是冬季野釣的主要對象魚，其嘴唇具有薄、脆的生理特徵，因此，提竿用力過猛，很容易將其嘴唇拉豁，造成脫鉤跑魚。為此，應利用持竿手手腕用適當的「爆發力」向上抖竿，使鉤將魚嘴刺牢，隨即綳緊釣線，有節奏地將魚牽領到岸邊起魚。
