一、積極參與課堂活動。我們現在使用的高中英語教材是新教材,課文短小口語化,主題貼近現實生活,課文中設計了內容豐富並與主題相關的聽、說、讀、寫等開放性的任務型活動和探究性學習的內容。新教材重點強調學生動口動手,而不是死記單詞和語法規則。課堂上我們一定要聽從老師的指揮,積極參與對話、討論,發言,要敢於開口,不怕出錯,珍惜課堂上的每一分鍾,不放棄每一次用英語交流的機會;不會說的也要說。要講好英語就是要膽子大,臉皮厚。英語是一門實踐性很強的學科,只有大膽實踐,才能提高交流能力。
我們要在聽力、口語、閱讀、寫作四項技能上全面發展,聽說領先。高一年級在頭2個月我們主要以訓練聽與說的能力為主,以後逐步加大閱讀和書面表達訓練。
二、英語學習要重視句子和文章的朗讀背誦,以培養語感。
學英語記單詞很重要,但機械記憶的單詞量再大,也不會真正提高你的英語水平。要做到詞不離句,句不離文。請記住:句子比單詞重要,記句子比記單詞劃算。我們要養成背句子的好習慣,因為句子中既包含了發音規則,又有語法內容,還有詞的具體用法。
學過的課文要高聲朗讀,精彩段落和文章要讀透背熟,做過的完形、閱讀、單項選擇題,聽力錄音稿也要朗讀。朗讀也是提高口語的辦法。學英語語感很重要,而朗讀、背誦,多聽多說有助於培養語感。通過大量的朗讀背誦,我們的語感形成了,這時候我們的語音語調就更標准,常用句子就能脫口而出,說英語就更自信;在閱讀文章時就能輕易地找到上下文關聯的感覺,體會到英語文字的美。
三、英語學習要重視復習。英語知識點多,需要大量記憶。很多同學抱怨,說自己的記性差,記了又忘了。有什麼辦法能讓我們記得長久些,甚至終生不忘?有2個辦法。最好的辦法以是聽課文錄音帶。反復地聽,反復地讀,課文中的語言點、詞彙在錄音帶中不斷被重復。這跟我們提倡朗讀是一個道理,聲音對大腦的刺激有助於記憶。記住:英語首先是一門聲音,我們要多運用耳朵和嘴巴,要大量進行聲音的輸入與輸出。想學好英語復讀機、錄音機是比不可少的。
第二,經常復習。要合理地安排復習時間。首先要及時復習。遺忘的規律是:前快後慢,先多後少,識記後最初遺忘得較快,以後逐漸減慢。針對這一規律,學習新知識後應及早加以復習。其次在復習中要多嘗試回憶,背誦。就是邊讀邊回憶。就像小學生背書一樣,讀一段,書合起來試著背,背不出來時再看一看。嘗試著回憶與識記交替進行,印象會更深刻一些,同時也知道了教材的難點在哪裡,復習更有目的性。
四、英語學習,跟任何知識的學習一樣,以自學為主。同學們要養成自覺學習的習慣。語言學習不是老師講會的,而是自己練會的。我們的英語教學是精講多練,講練結合,以練為主。有些同學聽力不好,只有一個辦法: 堅持聽,每天5-10分鍾,而且長期聽,一定會有效果的;閱讀能力要靠大量的閱讀來提高,詞彙量的積累和文化背景知識的豐富也是在閱讀中完成的。同學們要保證每天有2篇的閱讀量,500字左右,3年要有36萬字的閱讀量。有時不一定要做題,就像讀中文雜志一樣,只要你讀的是英文就行。我們要樹立目標,自己給自己施壓,自覺地復習和鞏固所學內容,主動請教。在完成了規定的任務後,要有「先人一步,捷足先登」的思想。充分利用閑暇時間,彌補薄弱環節,加強優勢。半年後,一年後,你會發現你已遠遠走在其他同學前面了。
熟能生巧。英語要靠我們不斷地重復、模仿,才會熟練,只有熟練了,才會形成一種不假思索的技能。在這個熟練的過程中,我們要不怕困難,堅持不懈地反復學習,持之以恆。相信自己一定能學好英語。成就夢想,英語助你一臂之力。

In the Spring and Autumn Period, a farmer in the State of Song was one day working in the fields when he saw a rabbit bump into a tree stump(樹樁) accidentally and break its neck.
