2. 語法不要很精，但能把長句子看懂，需要一點語回法基礎，能分答析句子成分；
3. 閱讀完一篇文章後，每個問題從原文中確認證實答案；

其餘的閱讀技巧，如找主題句、先看問題再看文章、分析篇章結構等，對中學生英語閱讀沒多大作用。

做英語閱讀最重要的不是把整個文章的句子都看一遍然後再去分析主旨大意，這樣內太浪費時間了！最好是遇到長容的問題短的文章看文章，短的問題長的文章就把問題帶到文章中找！前提是你要把握文章的結構！（但你要做到閱讀拿滿分或高分你還是需要多掌握詞彙量，因為如果一篇文章你意思都不知道那麼做到滿分還是不容易的）

The angry woman stood by the station. 「 The railway owes me £12,」she said to Harry Jenks, the booking clerk (訂票員). 「My ticket was for May 22nd, and there was no ship from Jersey that night. My daughter and I had to stay in a hotel. It cost me £12.」
Harry was worried. He remembered selling the woman a return ticket. 「 Come into the office, madam,」 he said, 「 I』 just check the Jersey timetable for May 22nd .」

「 That』s fine,」 said Harry. 「 My little girl can』t swim a bit yet. Of course, she』s only three-----」
「 I』m four,」 the child said proudly. 「 I』ll soon be four and a half.」
Harry turned to the mother. 「 I remember your ticket, madam,」 he said. 「 But you didn』t get one for your daughter, did you?」

對閱讀理解能力的測試是英語考試中必不可少的測試項目，主要考查學生對於不同體裁或不同題材語言材料的理解能力，以及通過材料的閱讀，對材料中信息的捕獲能力。此項能力的測試，對考生提出以下幾方面要求：
1.不但要求掌握所讀材料的主旨大意、中心思想，而且要求掌握文章中的詳細事實與細節。
2.不但要求對於具體事實情節的理解，而且要求對其抽象含義的理解，既要理解字面意思，又要理解其深層含義，包括作者的態度、觀點、意圖等。
3.既要求理解文章中某句、某段的含義及全文的邏輯關系，又要求根據其含義及邏輯關系進行判斷和推理。
4.既要求考生能夠運用材料中的信息去理解、分析問題；又要求考生能運用中學生應有的生活常識去分析、理解問題。
首先對原文材料迅速瀏覽，掌握全文的主旨大意。因為閱讀理解題一般沒有標題，所以，速讀全文，抓住中心主旨很有必要，在速讀的過程中，應盡可能多地捕獲信息材料。
其次，細讀題材，各個擊破。掌握全文的大意之後，細細閱讀每篇材料後的問題，弄清每題要求後，帶著問題，再回到原文中去尋找、捕獲有關信息。
要善於抓住每段的主題句，閱讀時，要有較強的針對性。對於捕獲到的信息，要做認真分析，仔細推敲，理解透徹，只有這樣，針對題目要求，才能做到穩、准。
下面，根據閱讀理解測試的要求，針對各個不同考查內容的考查題型，給出幾點解題建議：
事實詢問題
此類題型的問題以what、who、which、when、where、how或者why等詞引導，就文中某句、某段或某一具體細節進行提問並要求考生回答。
做好這類題的要領是：1.明確題意，順藤摸瓜。2.按照要求，尋找答案來源。3.找准關鍵詞，明白其暗示作用。4.多讀課文，正確使用排除法。
推理判斷題
既要求學生透過文章表面文字信息推測文章隱含意思，又要求學生對作者的態度、意圖及文章細節的發展作正確的推理判斷，力求從作者的角度去考慮，不要固守自己的看法或觀點。這類試題常以如下句式發問：
What can you conclude from this passage？
What's the auther's attitude towards...？
We can infer from the passage that…….
Which statement is(not) true？
這就要求考生首先在閱讀時，要抓住文章的主題和細節，分析文章結構，根據上下文內在聯系，挖掘文章的深層含義。
其次，對於暗含在文章中的人物的行為動機、事件中的因果關系及作者未言明的傾向、意圖、態度、觀點等要進行合乎邏輯的判斷、推理、分析，進一步增強理解能力，抓住材料實質性的東西。
數據推算題
此題要求學生就文章提供的數據，以及數據與文中其他信息的關系做簡單計算和推斷。在做此類題時：
1.要抓住並正確理解與數據有關的信息含義。
2.弄清眾多信息中那些屬於有用信息，那些屬於干擾信息。
3.不要孤立看待數字信息，而要抓住一些關鍵用語的意義。
識圖解意題
此類插圖題型是通過圖解、地圖或插圖的形式，形象化地表現信息，用以降低試題的難度，是短文和題目不可缺少的組成部分。在做此類題時，要求學生一定要：
1.把文章與圖示結合起來，圖文互相參照、互相驗證。
2.若是地圖，則要做到方位明確。
3.要正確理解文中方位介詞及有關信息詞的重要意義。
主旨大意題
此類題型用以考查學生對文章主題或中心思想的領會和理解能力。一類題型為主題問題。
經驗常識題

國外報紙雜志文章比較多,不是很難的那種文章。如果是中國人寫的回,文章描寫的是國內的事情的答話,那估計是選自《中國日報》了。對出題者而言,首先自己不可能會花時間為了出題去寫長文章,關鍵是沒有那麼多的素材啊,其次也不能保證沒有語法錯誤。

Nothing to worry about
The rough road across the plain soon became so bad that we tired to get Bruce to ddrive back to the village we had come from. Even thought the road was littered with boulders and pitted with holes, Bruce ws not in the least perturbed. Glancing at his map, he informed us that the next village was a mere twenty miles away. It was not that Bruce always underestimated difficulties. He simply had no sense of danger at all. No matter the conditions were, he believed that a car should be driven as fast as it could possibly go.
As we bumped over the sty track, we swerved to avoid large boulders. The wheels scooped up stones which hammered ominously under the car. We felt sure that sooner or later a stone would rip a hole in our petrol tank or damage the engine. Because of this, we kept looking back, wondering if we were leaving a trail of oil and petrol behind us.
What a relief it was when the boulders suddenly disappeared, giving way to a stretch of plain where the only obstacles were clomps of bushes. But there was worse to come. Just ahead of us there was a huge fissure. In response to renewed pleadings, Bruce stopped. Though we all got out to examine he fissure, he remained in the car. We informed him that the fissure extended for fifty yards and was two feet wide and four feet deep. Even this had no effect. Bruce went into a low gear and drove at a terrifying speed, keeping the front wheels astride the crack as he followed its zigzag course. Before we had time to worry about what might happen, we were back on the plain again. Bruce consulted the map once more and told us that the village was now only fifteen miles away. Our next obstacle was a shallow pool of water about half a mile across. Bruce charged at it, but in the middle, the car cae to a grinding halt. A yellow light on the dashboard flashed angrily and Bruce cheerfully announced that there was no oil in the engine!

瘋狂英語啊，英語沙龍啊這些都可以。你去報亭那裡有一堆。試試看看什麼適版合你。我喜歡去權滬江網，那裡有英語的，如果你上人人網還有四六級的公共主頁。要有提前意識，有空就看看這些，幫助很大。多去書店看看么。
我以前喜歡看瘋狂英語原聲版，那個就像雜志，不過有很多那種描寫的文章，寫作文很有用。
其實不用特別找什麼，到了高中學完了英語語法就基本沒的了么，有時候學校訂的什麼英語周報的閱讀你只要仔仔細細看都可以找到很多真的很好的句子。
不過看這些雜志，看你的要求，覺得你看，頭可能會很煩，因為你說你可能看不懂，就會不停看中文，後頭可能乾脆要麼看中文要麼就不看了。既然要看英語雜志，你手邊必須放的是一本牛津字典，多翻翻字典，查到的生詞，除非你真的記憶力很好，我覺得你不可能背完。一切只是一個積累過程，慢慢來。
針對作文，你就注意一下句型，建議你英文中文同時勾畫。切記，不要太花！太花了你找不到重點。多利用周圍的空處，貼貼小紙條，書面稍稍整潔會讓你有看下去的慾望。
