長跑·毅力·人生
暑假期間，我有幸拜讀了法國著名科學幻想小說家儒勒·凡爾納筆下的著名三部曲：《格蘭特船長的兒女》、《海底兩萬里》、《神秘島》中的第一部——《格蘭特船長的兒女》。
這部小說描寫了蘇格蘭籍遊船「鄧肯」號的船主格里那凡爵士在一個悠然的機會而到了兩年前因海事遇難失蹤的蘇格蘭航海家哈里·格蘭特發出的求救漂流瓶，他請求英國政府派遣船隊去尋找。可英國政府對蘇格蘭人一直很歧視，竟拒絕了爵士的請求。格里那凡爵士對英國的這種態度感到異常氣憤，於是他依然組織了一支小型旅行隊，親自帶隊去完成尋找格蘭特船長的任務。他帶著格蘭特船長的一雙兒女，沿著南緯37度穿越了南美洲的高山和草原，橫貫了澳大利亞和紐西蘭，環繞了地球一周。一路上，他們經歷了無數的艱難險阻，終於在太平洋的一個荒島上找到了格蘭特船長。

其實，我們的人生就如長跑，從長跑中我們不但可以感悟人生，更能享受人生。
你別小看了開始起跑的那一兩圈，別以為那是多麼輕松、舒坦，它關系著你以後的跑速，這正如我們小時侯養成的習慣，好的，將來終生受益，壞的，必然抱憾終生。
中間的那幾圈，有點吃力了。腳上像灌了鉛似的，每跨越一步，都在考驗一個人的毅力和意志，望望前面還有那麼幾圈，此時，在你後面的人漸漸追了上來，或者超越了你，這正如我們人生中所遇到的挫折，許多人不堪一擊，一頭躲進了「避風港」，躲進了「蝸牛殼」，不理世事，難怪有人會說：「我活得太累了……」從此，他們原諒了自己，不再拼搏，不再奮斗，可他們卻殊不知，從此，生活拋棄了他們，幸福之神也不見光顧。
最難熬，最辛苦的要數人生的最後幾圈，也就是沖刺的那幾圈。那時，人的題寧以超越了極限，唯一支持他們得知有必勝的信念。這使得他們，非但沒有鬆懈下來，而且，憑著一股頑強的毅力，驚人的毅力，贏得了最後的勝利，成為全國人民的驕傲！
再回過頭來，看看小說中的格里那凡爵士一行人，他們為了營救格蘭特船長，在茫茫無際的大海上前進，驚濤駭浪，暴風驟雨考驗著他們。他們全然不顧自己的生命，與生命搏擊，與毅力較量，最後終於在一個荒島上找到了船長。
這個故事一直流傳至今，值得人們頌揚。

This is a novel by the English author Daniel Defoe, published in 1719. It is one of the most popular adventure novels in all literature. It is the story of Bobinson Crusoe, an Englishman who is shipwrecked in a lonely tropical island. He builds himself a hut, grows his own food, and becomes self-sufficient. After 23 years he meets with a group of cannibals and rescues one of their prisoners, a young native whome he calls Friday.Crusoe and his「man」Friday become close friends, and when they are finally rescued four years later, both return to England.
Robinson Crusoe was partly based on the actual deeds of Alexander Selkirk, an 18th-century Scottish sailor who spent almost five years alone on a desert island. This novel is famous for its lovely details and its expression of belief in man's ability when left alone in nature.

People always like to compare with their friends. It is a big foible of all the people. If other people have a lot of money, we also want to be rich. If all the people around us are poor , we never mind that we are very poor, too. we will not ashamed because of our folly. This is a social problem.
If we never possess anything, we will not mind we lost some thing. Since we don』t want to be very rich ,we will not feel despond because poor.
The protagonist of this novel is Pip (Handel). His parents died when he was a baby. His sister had brought him up 『by hand』. His sister married to Joe Gargery, the village blacksmith. They didn』t have much money, and Pip never went to school to study. But he was often very happy .Because all of his friends are like him. It isn』t very unfortunate to them, this is their lives. But by a chance, Pip helped a convict; he gave much food to him. Then he met Miss Havisham, a very strange old woman and she was very rich.
Four years later, Miss Havisham wants Pip to be removed from his home and ecated as a gentleman who expects inherit a fortune when he grow up.
After hearing that . Pip started to despise his poor friends. He even feel ashamed because he live with the poor man . Pip』s 『great expectations』 destroyed his life.
This novel told us that we cannot compare with others .Don』t feel envy at the others money. And if one day you be very rich , please don』t despise your poor friends.
